El invicto peso medio británico Danny Dignum lidió con un corte y derribó tres veces a Grant Dennis antes de anotarse un triunfo por KOT en el sexto asalto. Con ello, Dignum se afianza justo por debajo de Alimkhanuly y Falcao, que pelearán por un provisional título interino WBO.

En el semifondo, el peso gallo Lee McGregor padeció un resultado muy controvertido, ya que hizo más que suficiente para derrotar al bravo Diego Alberto Ruiz, pero el veredicto fue sorprendemente de empate. Este duelo fue precedido por el triunfo del supermedio Joe Giles y por el exitoso debut del peso wélter Bilal Fawaz.

En el comienzo de esta cartelera sumaron triunfos tres prospectos, destacando la arrolladora victoria del púgil de buena carrera amateur Paul Ryan, que terminó en el primer asalto con CJ Wood. Los otros dos novatos que salieron con el brazo en alto, ambos a los puntos, fueron George Mitchell y Jordan Flynn.

Al margen de este cartel, en el viernes sólo queda destacar la previsible victoria del peso superpluma argentino Ayrton “Pacman” Giménez 14(3KO)-0 sobre el boxeador de buen encaje Jonathan “El Forastero” Arena 11(4KO)-11(1)-1, quien una vez más aguantó la distancia completa pero que finalmente fue derrotado de forma unánime (100-90, 99-91 y 98-92). Así, Giménez se mostró listo para un aumento de dificultad en su próxima subida al ring que siga contribuyendo a su desarrollo pugilístico.
Sábado 12 de febrero
El excampeón mundial Daniel Jacobs ganó una primera mitad aburrida, con muchos clinches y golpes aislados, en su combate contra el exaspirante mundial John Ryder. Con todo, posteriormente la eficacia de Jacobs se desmoronó y fue golpeado en corta de forma insistente por su oponente, que logró una victoria por decisión dividida en esta eliminatoria WBA del peso supermedio.

En el semifondo de esta cartelera de Matchroom Boxing el peso pesado Johnny Fisher tuvo una trabajada e incómoda victoria a los puntos sobre Gabriel Enguema, algo que fue admitido por el propio púgil invicto tras el combate. De todos modos, no sufrió tanto como el top 15 del peso medio Felix Cash que, pese a terminar ganando por merecida decisión unánime, fue derribado en dos ocasiones y perdió un punto ante Magomed Madiev.

La cartelera principal emitida por DAZN también dejó el triunfo unánime de la prospecta del peso supergallo Ellie Scotney gracias a su precisión ante una muy agresiva Jorgelina Guanini y el triunfo del peso medio Austin Williams por KOT en el sexto asalto tras derribar tres veces al encajador Javier Maciel.

Cambiando de cartel, el hábil y sólido Noel Gevor continuó acercándose a un campeonato mundial del peso crucero derrotando por decisión unánime de los jueces al fortísimo exaspirante mundial Youri Kalenga.

Por otro lado, en una velada de Mark Prior y MTK Global, se coronó a un nuevo campeón de Inglaterra del peso superligero, puesto que el cinturón vacante fue conquistado por Billy Allington 10(0KO)-1-3 con una decisión dividida (97-93, 97-94, 94-97) sobre Jamie Robinson 11(3KO)-5-2. Concluyendo el recorrido por los resultados del fin de semana:
-El campeón sudamericano del peso supergallo Héctor Sosa 13(8KO)-0 no peleó con Ernesto Sebastián Franzolini en un campeonato de Argentina, sino que realizó un rodaje contra el sustituto Mauro Barrios 5(1KO)-5, ante quien se anotó un knockdown y una victoria unánime (doble 97-91 y un 96-92). De todos modos, Sosa también cayó a la lona en una ocasión y generó algunas dudas.
-Tampoco combatió contra el rival original el peso pluma Maliek Montgomery 13(12KO)-0, o sea José Argel, sino contra el sustituto tardío Pedro Hernández 7(2KO)-10(8)-1, a quien venció en dos asaltos a la espera de que le llegue un test significativo.
-El peso ligero Samuel Molina 19(10KO)-1(1) derrotó en cinco asaltos, al igual que Moussa Gholam, a Víctor Julio 16(8KO)-3(2), dejando en tres su racha de triunfos y encaminándose hacia una nueva pelea ante un boxeador con aspiraciones.

Friday February 11
Undefeated British middleweight Danny Dignum dealt with a cut and knocked down Grant Dennis three times before scoring a sixth-round TKO victory. With this win, Dignum establishes himself just below Alimkhanuly and Falcao, whom will fight for a provisional WBO title. Read more following this link.
In the co-feature, bantamweight Lee McGregor suffered a very controversial decision, as he did more than enough to defeat brave Diego Alberto Ruiz, but the verdict was surprisingly a draw. This duel was preceded by the victory of super middleweight Joe Giles and the successful debut of welterweight Bilal Fawaz. Read more following this link.
At the beginning of this card three prospects added wins to their records, standing out the overwhelming victory of the boxer with good amateur career Paul Ryan, who finished in the first round CJ Wood. Apart from this card, on Friday took place the foreseeable victory of the Argentine super featherweight Ayrton «Pacman» Giménez 14(3KO)-0 over the resistant Jonathan «El Forastero» Arena 11(4KO)-11(1 )-1, who once again endured the full distance but was eventually unanimously defeated (100-90, 99-91 and 98-92). Thus, Giménez showed that he is ready for a step up in difficulty for his next fight.
Saturday February 12
Former world champion Daniel Jacobs won a dull first half, with many clinches and sporadic punches, in his fight against former world challenger John Ryder. However, Jacobs’ effectiveness subsequently crumbled in the second half and he was repeatedly beaten at close range by his opponent, who achieved a split decision victory in this WBA super middleweight eliminator. In the undercard of this Matchroom Boxing bill, heavyweight Johnny Fisher had an uncomfortable points victory over Gabriel Enguema, something that was admitted by the undefeated boxer after the fight. Still, he didn’t suffer as much as middleweight Felix Cash who, despite ending up winning a deserved unanimous decision, was knocked down twice and lost a point to Magomed Madiev. The DAZN main card also had super bantamweight prospect Ellie Scotney, who won an unanimous decision due to her precision against a very aggressive Jorgelina Guanini, and middleweight Austin Williams, who won Javier Maciel by TKO in the sixth round after knocking him down three times. Concluding the results of the weekend:
-The South American super bantamweight champion Héctor Sosa 13(8KO)-0 did not fight Ernesto Sebastián Franzolini in an Argentine championship, but instead had a tune-up against substitute Mauro Barrios 5(1KO)-5, against whom he scored a knockdown and a unanimous victory (double 97-91 and one 96-92). However, Sosa also fell to the canvas.
-Featherweight Maliek Montgomery 13(12KO)-0 also did not fight against the original rival José Argel, but against the late substitute Pedro Hernández 7(2KO)-10(8)-1, whom he defeated in two rounds while waiting for a meaningful test.
-Lightweight Samuel Molina 19(10KO)-1(1) defeated in five rounds (same rounds as Moussa Gholam) Víctor Julio 16(8KO)-3(2), leaving his winning streak in three and heading towards a new fight against a boxer with aspirations.
