Tukov fue derribado por Julio pero venció, Vesialou derrotó a bravo Terentiev, Dorofeev sumó quinto triunfo

Este sábado se está desarrollando en Rusia una velada organizada por RCC Boxing que estará encabezada por la eliminatoria Zaur Abdullaev vs. Jorge Linares. Como parte de su respaldo inicial se desarrolló el combate del peso pesado entre el invicto ruso Alexander Dorofeev 5(2KO)-0 y el veterano bielorruso Yury Bykhautsou 10(3KO)-24(3)-3, encuentro vencido por el primero a los puntos con evidente claridad.
Persistentes combinaciones de hooks arriba y abajo, poco tensos uno-dos y cruzados zurdos a la contra le sirvieron a Dorofeev para anotar más manos y más claras que su rival round tras round. El veterano Bykhautsou realizó algunas arremetidas eventuales con su gancho de mano adelantada y en ocasiones tuvo puntual acierto en los intercambios con sus ganchos, si bien lo más encomiable de su actuación fue nuevamente que pudiese resistir sin verse dañado seis asaltos en los que Dorofeev le había golpeado con muchas manos nítidas.
Esta pugna fue sucedida por la que sostuvieron en el peso medio el bielorruso Mikalai Vesialou 12(5KO)-0-2 y el duro ruso Evgeny Terentiev 17(8KO)-5(1), igualado encuentro entre zurdos terminado con merecida victoria a los puntos de Vesialou.
El combate se planteó como un choque de estilos, con Terentiev presionando buscando sus golpes de poder contra un Vesialou que se desplazaba, jabeaba y escogía contragolpes. Inicialmente, el bravo Terentiev efectuó un buen trabajo, impactando manos peligrosas en corta que su adversario no siempre supo evitar pese a sus frecuentes clinches, pero posteriormente Vesialou encontró mejor el camino para certeros izquierdazos rectos, curvos diestros arriba y abajo y afilados jabs que le permitieron disminuir la velocidad de su contrincante.
De hecho, aunque Terentiev atacaba con tenacidad, en el sexto asalto fue derribado por un excelente croché diestro a la contra. Aun así, y pese a los contragolpes recibidos, Terentiev siguió esforzándose y presionando con decisión hasta el final, creando una dura pelea para su rival.
Posteriormente tuvo lugar la victoria del prospecto ruso del peso medio Vadim Tukov 6(2KO)-0, que derrotó a los puntos al colombino Joel Julio 39(33KO)-10(3), quien le puso en el tapiz en una ocasión.
Bastante activo al comienzo, desde la distancia media Tukov lanzó precisos uno-dos y ganchos zurdos contra Julio, pero el astuto veterano no se dejó castigar gravemente y fue midiendo a su oponente con contragolpes, logrando en el tercer round derribar al favorito con un gancho zurdo. Posteriormente, Julio pareció más motivado, pero Tukov intensificó su trabajo ofensivo hasta conducir más hacia las cuerdas al visitante. Con todo, Julio tiró de oficio para, con desplazamientos, oportunos golpes y eficaces acciones defensivas, volver hacia el centro del ring y generar útiles rounds de experiencia para Tukov.

This Saturday is taking place in Russia an evening organized by RCC Boxing, card that will be headlined by the eliminator Zaur Abdullaev vs. Jorge Linares. As part of the initial support was the heavyweight match between undefeated Russian Alexander Dorofeev 5(2KO)-0 and Belarusian veteran Yury Bykhutsou 10(3KO)-24(3)-3, fight won by Dorofeev on points with obvious clarity.
Persistent combinations of hooks up and down, weak one-two, and left hooks countering by Dorofeev allowed him to connect more punches than his opponent round after round. The veteran Bykhautsou made some occasional attacks with his lead hand and somtimes he had punctual success in the exchanges with his hooks, although the most praiseworthy thing about his performance was again that he could resist without being damaged six rounds in which Dorofeev hit him with many precise punches.
This fight was followed by the one between the Belarusian Mikalai Vesialou 12(5KO)-0-2 and the tough Russian Evgeny Terentiev 17(8KO)-5(1), an even match between southpaws that ended with Vesialou’s deserved victory on points.
The bout was a clash of styles, with Terentiev pressing trying to connect his power shots against Vesialou, who moved, jabed and counterpunched. Initially, the brave Terentiev did a good job, hitting with dangerous hooks that his opponent couldn’t always avoid despite his frequent clinches, but later Vesialou found a better way for his straight left shots, his right hooks up and down and his sharp, punches that allowed him to reduce the speed of his opponent.
In fact, although Terentiev attacked with tenacity, in the sixth round he was dropped to the canvas by an excellent right hook. Even so, and despite the counterattacks received, Terentiev pushed hard and pressed until the end, creating a tough fight for his rival.
Later came the victory on points of Russian middleweight prospect Vadim Tukov 5(2KO)-0 over Colombian Joel Julio 39(33KO)-9(3), who put him on the mat one time.
Quite active at the beginning, Tukov threw precise one-twos and left hooks from mid-range against Julio, but the cunning veteran did not allow himself to be seriously punished and measured his opponent with counterpunches, knocking down the favorite in the third round with a left hook. Then, Julio seemed more motivated, but Tukov was not overwhelmed and even intensified his offensive work until he pushed the visitor more towards the ropes. All in all, Julio used his experience to return to the center of the ring and generate useful rounds for Tukov with movements, opportune punches and effective defensive actions.
