La compañía Top Rank ya tiene situada oficialmente en el calendario una nueva velada, puesto que ha confirmado que el día 9 de abril en The Hangar en Costa Mesa, Estados Unidos, la local Mikaela Mayer defenderá sus cinturones unificados WBO-IBF del peso superpluma contra la excampeona mundial Jennifer Han. En el semifondo, el peso wélter Giovani Santillán se enfrentará a Jeovanis Barraza, siendo estas dos peleas televisadas por ESPN y ESPN Deportes.
El respaldo previo, emitido por ESPN+, contará con la participación (obviamente en combates separados) de los hermanos Andrew y Jason Moloney, púgiles bien clasificados respectivamente en el peso supermosca y gallo que tratarán de afianzar sus aspiraciones titulares. Además, se subirán al ring también el aspirante obligatorio del campeón mundial Kiko Martínez, o sea el peso pluma Luis Alberto “Venado” López, el plata olímpico Duke Ragan y la olímpica debutante Virginia Fuchs. Todos los adversarios de estos boxeadores serán anunciados próximamente.
