La velada del Fury-Whyte ya se ha puesto en marcha y sus dos primeros combates del tramo principal han sido tan desnivelados como se esperaba. En un de ellos el peso pesado David Adeleye 9(8KO)-0 ha batido por KOT en el cuarto round a un Chris Healey 9(2KO)-9(3) en un pésimo estado de forma.
Healey intentó presionar a Adeleye, pero era demasiado lento y tosco como para generar dificultades al invicto. Así, Adeleye pudo escoger con comodidad contragolpes en hook abajo, directo arriba y cruzados al rostro para ir desgastando a su contrincante. Como no tiene la mayor de las inteligencias de ring, Adeleye recibió algunas manos evitables, pero estas no fueron muy significativas y el imbatido terminó desarbolando a Healey con un gancho zurdo en el cuarto asalto, forzando la detención arbitral tras un posterior directo diestro.
Tommy Fury no logró el knockout
Al peso semipesado Tommy Fury 8(4KO)-0, hermano de Tyson Fury, se le buscó un rival de nivel bajo como el polaco Daniel Bocianski 10(2KO)-2(1), un boxeador que no peleaba desde hace más de un año y que además venía de ser noqueado en el peso supermedio por el quebradizo Patrick Szymanski. El plan detrás de esta selección de oponente es que Fury se anotase un knockout, si bien el púgil no cumplió el objetivo y finalmente venció a los puntos (juez-árbitro 60-54).
Bocianski tenía muchos defectos técnicos y defensivos, gestionando mal la distancia y lanzando manos con inadecuada ejecución, así que Fury pudo estremecerlo con nítidos directos diestros en repetidas ocasiones. No obstante, muchas veces Fury se encimó en sus ataques, favoreciendo clinches que permitieron al visitante resistir en pie hasta el quinto round, en el que Bocianski fue derribado por un derechazo. El polaco estaba en una situación absolutamente crítica, pero Fury no fue capaz de finalizar el duelo al precipitarse y de nuevo permitir a su oponente agarrarse.
Triunfo de Itauma
Antes del inicio de la cartelera principal se produjo una nueva pelea para el prospecto del peso semipesado Karol Itauma 7(5KO)-0, que terminó en el segundo asalto con el polaco Michal Ciach 2(1KO)-12(6). El zurdo Itauma presionó con firmeza con sus izquierdas rectas y sus ganchos diestros, empujando hacia las cuerdas a Ciach, que recibió castigo hasta caer en el segundo episodio. Pese a que entonces el púgil se puso en pie, el árbitro detuvo el combate.

The Fury-Whyte evening has already started, and in its first two fights of the main card the favorites have obtained wins as lopsided as expected. In one of them, heavyweight David Adeleye 9(8KO)-0 has beat by TKO in the fourth round Chris Healey 9(2KO)-9(3), boxer in very bad shape.
Healey tried to pressure Adeleye, but he was too slow and technically flawed to give the undefeated any trouble. Thus, Adeleye was able to comfortably choose counterattacks in hook down, straight up and right overhand to the face to wear down his opponent. As he does not have the greatest ring intelligence, Adeleye received some avoidable hands, but these were not very significant and the undefeated ended up disarming Healey with a left hook in the fourth round, forcing the referee stoppage after a subsequent straight punch.
Tommy Fury did not obtain the knockout
Light heavyweight Tommy Fury 8(4KO)-0, brother of Tyson Fury, faced a low-level opponent such as the Polish Daniel Bocianski 10(2KO)-2(1), a boxer who had not fought for more than a year and that also came from being knocked out at super middleweight by Patrick Szymanski. The plan behind this selection of rival was for Fury to score a knockout, although the fighter did not meet the objective and finally won on points (judge-referee 60-54).
Bocianski had many technical and defensive flaws, poorly managing distance and throwing hands with bad technical execution, so Fury was able to rock him with hard right hands repeatedly. However, many times Fury got too near to his rival in his attacks, favoring clinches that allowed the visitor to resist until the fifth round, in which Bocianski was dropped by a straight punch. The Pole was in an absolutely critical situation, but Fury was unable to finish the duel as he rushed and again allowed his opponent to clinch.
Victory for Itauma
Before the start of the main card there was a new fight for light heavyweight prospect Karol Itauma 7(5KO)-0, who ended in the second round his bout against the Pole Michal Ciach 2(1KO)-12(6). Southpaw Itauma pressed firmly with his straight lefts and right hooks, pushing Ciach toward the ropes. The visitor was punished until he was dropped in the second round. Although the fighter then stood up, the referee stopped the fight.
