Siendo objetivos, varios de los últimos carteles de Matchroom Boxing no han tenido precisamente un gran nivel medio, pareciendo que Eddie Hearn ha querido contestar a las múltiples críticas recibidas por esos eventos anunciando una velada excelente para el 25 de junio. En ella se producirán cuatro peleas titulares, de las cuales una tendrá cinturones unificados en juego y la otra contará con una titular indiscutida.
El choque estelar pondrá sobre el ring a la estrella emergente del peso supermosca Jesse Rodríguez que, tras superar su prueba de fuego ante Carlos Cuadras derrotándole con una gran actuación, ahora se enfrentará a su rival obligatorio: ni más ni menos que al excampeón mundial tailandés Wisaksil Wangek, el único boxeador que ha logrado asestarle una derrota clara al futuro Salón de la Fama “Chocolatito” González.
En el semifondo se producirá una revancha entre el campeón mundial WBC del peso mosca Julio César Martínez y McWilliams Arroyo, quienes intercambiaron knockdowns y estaban generando un combate emocionante antes de que terminase en un decepcionante No Contest. Así, es de suponer que en el duelo de desquite volverán a ofrecer entretenimiento.
El nivel del evento no bajará para la pugna anterior al semifondo, más bien al contrario, puesto que el campeón unificado del peso supergallo WBA-IBF Murodjon Akhmadaliev afrontará una difícil defensa obligatoria ante el duro y sólido Ronny Ríos, que viene en una buena racha de cuatro victorias antes del límite.
Desafortunadamente no se conoce todavía la oponente de Jessica McCaskill, monarca indiscutida (WBA, WBC, IBF y WBO) del peso wélter que expondrá sus cuatro cinturones mundiales en la pugna que teóricamente abrirá la emisión de DAZN. De todos modos, incluso aunque la rival de McCaskill termine siendo una boxeadora con un nivel bajísimo, esto no alterará el hecho de que es una muy interesante velada y que en sus tres choques principales debería ofrecer rounds de mucha calidad.

Objectively, several of the latest Matchroom Boxing cards have not had a great level, so it seems that Eddie Hearn has wanted to answer to the criticisms received for those events by announcing now an excellent evening for June 25. Four title fights will take place in it, of which one will have unified belts at stake and other an undisputed belt holder.
The main clash will put in the ring the emerging super flyweight star Jesse Rodríguez who, after winning his decisive test against Carlos Cuadras with a great performance, will now face his mandatory opponent: the former world champion Wisaksil Wangek (Srisaket Sor Rungvisai), the only boxer who has dealt a clear defeat to the future Hall of Famer “Chocolatito” González.
In the co-feature there will be a rematch between WBC flyweight world champion Julio César Martínez and McWilliams Arroyo, who traded knockdowns and were generating an exciting match before it ended in a disappointing No Contest. Thus, it is expected that they will offer entertainment again in the rematch.
The level of the event will not drop for the fight before the co-main, quite the contrary, since the unified WBA-IBF super bantamweight champion Murodjon Akhmadaliev will fight in a difficult mandatory defense against the tough and solid Ronny Ríos, who comes on a good streak of four stoppage victories.
Unfortunately, the rival of Jessica McCaskill is not yet known, but the undisputed welterweight champion will defend her four belts in the DAZN broadcast opener. In any case, even if McCaskill’s rival ends up being a boxer with a very low level, this will not change the fact that this is a very interesting evening and that in the three main clashes it should offer high quality rounds.
