Cuando se enfrentaron por primera vez en mayo de 2016, los pesos pesados [+90,7 kg o +200 lb] Derek Chisora y Kubrat Pulev dieron en la báscula cantidades respectivas de 109,7 kg (241,8 lb) y de 113,0 kg (249,1 lb). Seis años después, los boxeadores volvieron a encontrarse en un pesaje de cara al combate estelar del evento de Matchroom Boxing y DAZN que tendrá lugar este sábado en el O2 Arena de Londres, Reino Unido. Para este enfrentamiento Pulev dio una cifra muy similar a la del primer choque, 113,4 kg (250 lb), pero Chisora pesó 7,4 kg (16,3 lb) más que en la pugna precedente entre ambos parando la romana en 117,1 kg (258 lb 2 oz).
No han transcurrido seis años, sino seis meses, desde que Israil Madrimov y Michel Soro se vieron las caras en una eliminatoria del peso superwélter [69,9 kg o 154 lb], duelo que este sábado tendrá una revancha. Para este choque Madrimov pesó 69,74 kg (153 lb 12 oz) y Soro dio 69,68 kg (153 lb 10 oz).
En la cartelera se incluirá también una pugna pactada por encima del peso supergallo [55,3 kg o 122 lb] entre Ramla Ali y Agustina Rojas para la cual las púgiles dieron cantidades respectivas de 55,7 kg (122 lb 14 oz) y de 55,4 kg (122 lb 3 oz).
Ante de este duelo en principio se producirán combates protagonizados por dos invictos. Uno de ellos es el peso medio [72,6 kg o 160 lb] Felix Cash, que marcó 72,5 kg (159 lb 15 oz) para su pugna contra Vaughn Alexander, que dio 72,0 kg (158 lb 11 oz). El otro es Caoimhin Agyarko, que paró la romana en 69,7 kg (153 lb 12 oz) para un enfrentamiento del peso superwélter [69,9 kg o 154 lb] de cara al cual su rival Lukasz Maciec dio el techo de la categoría.
Además del enfrentamiento Chisora-Pulev II, en la velada habrán otras dos peleas del peso pesado [+90,7 kg o +200 lb]. En una participará Fabio Wardley, que dio en la báscula 108,0 kg (238 lb), mientras que en la otra combatirá Solomon Dacres, que pesó 104,4 kg (230,1 lb). Sin embargo, en la emisión del pesaje se señaló que sus oponentes, en teoría Kingsley Ibeh para Wardley y Kevin Espíndola para Dacres, se iban a pesar más tarde.
Finalmente, la primera pugna de la velada, parte del tramo no televisado por DAZN, será un choque del peso supergallo [55,3 kg o 122 lb] en el que Yousuf Ibrahim, que pesó 54,5 kg (120,1 lb), se enfrentará al español Francisco Rodríguez, que marcó 54,9 kg (121 lb 1 oz).
DAZN retransmitirá la cartelera principal de este evento el sábado desde las 20:00 en España, las 19:00 en Reino Unido y las 14:00 ET/11:00 PT.

When they fought in May 2016, heavyweights [+90.7 kg or +200 lbs] Derek Chisora and Kubrat Pulev weighed respectively 109.7 kg (241.8 lbs) and 113.0kg (249.1lbs). Six years later, the boxers got face to face again in a weigh-in for the main event of the Matchroom Boxing and DAZN card that will take place this Saturday at the O2 Arena in London, United Kingdom. For this duel, Pulev tipped the scales in a very similar figure to that of the first match, 113.4 kg (250 lb), but Chisora weighed 7.4 kg (16.3 lb) more than in the previous fight between these two fighters, stopping the scale at 117.1 kg (258 lb 2 oz).
Not six years but six months, is the time that have passed since Israil Madrimov and Michel Soro battled in a super welterweight [69.9 kg or 154 lb] eliminator, duel that will have a rematch this Saturday. For this bout Madrimov weighed 69.74 kg (153 lb 12 oz) and Soro weighed 69.68 kg (153 lb 10 oz).
The bill will also include a match agreed over the super bantamweight limit [55.3 kg or 122 lb] between Ramla Ali and Agustina Rojas, fight for which the boxers weighed respectively 55.7 kg (122 lb 14 oz) and 55.4 kg (122 lb 3oz).
In principle, before this duel there will be fights featuring two undefeated. One of them is middleweight [72.6 kg or 160 lb] Felix Cash, who weighed 72.5 kg (159 lb 15 oz) for his fight against Vaughn Alexander, who weighed 72.0 kg (158 lb 11 oz). The other is Caoimhin Agyarko, who stopped the scale at 69.7 kg 153 lb 12 oz) for a super welterweight [69.9 kg or 154 lb] clash for which his rival Lukasz Maciec weighed the limit of the division.
In addition to the fight Chisora-Pulev II, there will be two other heavyweight [+90.7 kg or +200 lb] matches on the evening. Fabio Wardley will participate in one, weighing 108.0 kg (238 lb), while Solomon Dacres will fight in the other, weighing 104.4 kg (230.1 lb). However, it was pointed out that their opponents, in theory Kingsley Ibeh for Wardley and Kevin Espíndola for Dacres, were going to weigh in later.
Finally, the first bout of the evening, part of the not televised card, will be a super bantamweight match [55.3 kg or 122 lb] in which Yousuf Ibrahim, who weighed 54.5 kg (120.1 lb), will face Francisco Rodríguez, who weighed 54.9 kg (121 lb 1 oz).
DAZN will broadcast the main card of this event on Saturday from 19:00 in the UK, 14:00 ET/11:00 PT.
