Agyarko y Wardley sumaron victorias en el respaldo del Chisora-Pulev II

Con el combate Felix Cash vs. Vaughn Alexander cancelado a última por enfermedad del primero, se tuvieron que hacer algunos ajustes en la cartelera principal del evento Chisora-Pulev II. Aun así, la segunda pelea de la retransmisión de este evento fue igualmente la que estaba programada en esa posición, pugna que terminó con la victoria por decisión unánime (doble 100-90 y un 99-93) del irlandés Caoimhin “Black Thunder” Agyarko 12(7KO)-0 sobre el polaco Lukasz Maciec 28(5KO)-5-1.
Debido a su gran ventaja en velocidad y explosividad, Agyarko pudo marcar la diferencia de forma constante ante un Maciec tenaz pero que recibió claros hooks y derechas a la contra y que también los encajó cuando su rival pasó al ataque. Ante los puños recibidos el polaco trató de lanzar contraofensivas, pero habitualmente la rapidez de piernas de su adversario le dejó golpeando al aire antes de que el ciclo volviese a comenzar.
En el cuarto round Maciec quedó tocado por un gancho al hígado, pero aunque Agyarko insistió con sus golpes al cuerpo y arrojó ataques bastantes agresivos e intensos fue incapaz de derribar o de dañar críticamente a su bravo contrincante, quien en la segunda mitad aprovechó los característicos descuidos defensivos del favorito para golpearle con algunos buenos golpes de poder. No obstante, estos puños de Maciec carecieron de continuidad y no estuvo cerca de darle la vuelta a la pelea.
Wardley logró fácil triunfo
El rival original Kingsley Ibeh finalmente no pudo abandonar Estados Unidos para enfrentarse al peso pesado británico Fabio Wardley 14(13KO)-0, así que este último se tuvo que conformar con una pelea contra Chris Healey 9(2KO)-10(4), que a penas pudo ofrecer oposición antes de perder en el segundo round.
Con algo más de un minuto y medio de pelea transcurrido, un Healey en muy baja forma fue derribado tras recibir ganchos al cuerpo, aunque logró caminar y tirar manos disuasorias para alcanzar el segundo epsiodio. En cualquier caso, en dicho asalto fue presionado y hostigado por Wardley, que con uppercuts y hooks llevó de nuevo al tapiz a Healey, quien se levantó pero sin poder evitar que el árbitro parase el desnivelado duelo.

With the match Felix Cash vs. Vaughn Alexander canceled late due to an illness suffered by the former, some adjustments were necessary in the main card of the Chisora-Pulev II event. Even so, the second fight of the broadcast of this event was the one that was scheduled in that position, a fight that ended with the victory by unanimous decision (double 100-90 and one 99-93) of the Irishman Caoimhin «Black Thunder» Agyarko 12(7KO)-0 over the Polish Lukasz Maciec 28(5KO)-5-1.
Due to his great advantage in speed and explosiveness, Agyarko was able to constantly make the difference against Maciec, who received clear counterpunches in left hook and right hand and also took these shots when his opponent decided to attack. In reaction to the punches received, the Pole tried to launch counteroffensives, but the leg speed of his opponent left him hitting the air before the cycle began again.
In the fourth round Maciec was hurt by a hook to the liver, but although Agyarko insisted then with his body shots and threw quite aggressive and intense attacks, he was unable to drop or critically damage his opponent, who in the second half took advantage of the characteristic defensive mistakes of the favorite to hit him with good power punches. However, these shots from Maciec lacked continuity and he did not get close to reach a favorable turning point.
Wardley obtained easy win
The original rival Kingsley Ibeh was ultimately unable to leave the United States to face British heavyweight Fabio Wardley 14(13KO)-0, so the latter had to settle for a fight against Chris Healey 9(2KO)-10(4), who was barely able to offer opposition before losing in the second round.
With just over a minute and a half into the fight, Healey, who was very out of shape, was knocked down after receiving hooks to the body, although he managed to walk and throw dissuasive hands to reach the second round. In any case, in said round he was attacked more intensely by Wardley, who with uppercuts and hooks brought Healey back to the mat. The boxer got up, but he could not prevent the referee from stopping the uneven duel.
