Se supone que tras este enfrentamiento Ryan García volverá a militar en el peso ligero. Con todo, a petición del equipo de Javier Fortuna, que no estaba en forma cuando se pactó el combate, su pelea del sábado se producirá en la categoría del peso superligero [63,5 kg o 140 lb]. Así, los dos boxeadores no tuvieron problemas con la báscula, dando García 63,5 kg (140 lb) y Fortuna 63,4 kg (139,8 lb).
En cuanto al combate coestelar, pelea del peso wélter [66,7 kg o 147 lb], ni Alexis Rocha ni Luis Verón (sustituto tardío de Samuel Kotey) sobrepasaron el techo de la división, dando el primero 66,5 kg (146,6 lb) y el segundo 66,2 kg (146 lb).
La cartelera principal emitida por DAZN contará con otros dos enfrentamientos. Para la eliminatoria WBA del peso superpluma [59,0 kg o 130 lb], Lamont Roach Jr. marcó 58,9 kg (129,8 lb) y Ángel Rodríguez dio 58,6 kg (129,2 lb), mientras que para la eliminatoria WBA del peso mosca [50,8 kg o 112 lb] Ricardo Sandoval paró la romana en 50,7 kg (111,8 lb) y David Jiménez lo hizo en 50,4 kg (111,2 lb).
DAZN ofrecerá estos enfrentamientos esta noche desde las 2:00 de la madrugada en España, las 20:00 ET/17:00 PT.

It is assumed that after this fight Ryan García will return to lightweight. However, at the request of the team of Javier Fortuna, who was not in great shape when the fight was agreed, their bout on Saturday will take place in the super lightweight division [63,5 kg or 140 lb]. Thus, the two boxers had no problems with the scales, Garcia weighing 63.5 kg (140 lb) and Fortuna 63.4 kg (139.8 lb).
As for the co-main event, a welterweight [66.7 kg or 147 lb] fight, Alexis Rocha and Luis Verón (a late replacement for Samuel Kotey) not exceeded the division limit, the former weighing 66.5 kg (146, 6 lb) and the latter 66.2 kg (146 lb).
The main card aired by DAZN will feature two other matchups.
