Y2 Boxing ganó subasta del mundial Goulamirian-Egorov

Durante muchos meses, la materialización del campeonato mundial WBA del peso crucero entre el titular Arsen Goulamirian y el retador Aleksei Egorov se ha encontrado con múltiples obstáculos, así que no era de esperar que las cosas fuesen a ser fáciles en las nuevas negociaciones ordenadas por el organismo. De hecho, los equipos de ambos boxeadores no lograron un acuerdo en el tiempo que tenían asignado para ello, alcanzándose una subasta que, al fin, ha terminado decidiendo los derechos de organización del duelo.
La promotora Y2 Boxing se impuso con una puja de 364.000 dólares a la rusa World of Boxing, que ofreció 303.000 dólares, así que ahora está en su mano que el choque se realice de una vez por todas y que la división en el organismo deje de estar estancada. Según informó Y2 Boxing, su intención es que el combate se produzca el día 19 de noviembre en París o en Le Cannet, Francia, algo que en los próximos días será confirmado de forma definitiva.
Según las normas de la WBA, la repartición de la bolsa se realizará 75% a favor del campeón Goulamirian, lo que le dará a éste una cantidad de 273.000 dólares y a Egorov 91.000 dólares, cantidades que, se consideren altas o bajas, les vendrán bien a ambos tras más de dos años sin realizar combates pero en los que han afrontado campamentos de entrenamiento para peleas finalmente canceladas.
