Como parte de la cartelera principal del evento en el que se integraron los duelos Bowen-Quinlan, Hussain-Higgins y Goodall-Fosso, se produjeron también otras dos victorias antes del límite. Una de ellas fue cosechada por neozelandés Junior Tafa 1(1KO)-0-1, peso pesado con experiencia en deportes de combate puño-patada que batió por KOT en el tercer round a un rival con 44 kg (97 lb) más de peso como David Tuliloa 2(2KO)-5(4).
Con más destreza y más agilidad, Tafa caminó algo y pudo tirar jabs y escogidos directos diestros ante un Tuliloa lento y que no podía alcanzarlo si se mantenía dinámico. No obstante, Tafa terminó parándose y permitiendo que su oponente tirase algunos curvos. Aunque este era el terreno que más beneficiaba a Tuliloa, en el tercer round Tafa le golpeó duramente con ganchos arriba y abajo hasta que lo dañó con un hook diestro a la cabeza y forzó el KOT con otro más.
En la restante pelea, el joven peso wélter Ty “Trigger” Telford 8(4KO)-1-1 venció en el primer asalto al boxeador indio llamado Vanlalawmpuia 4(3KO)-1(1)-1.
Más preciso y contundente en los tests en el centro del ring, Telford sólo tuvo que esperar unas decenas de segundos para dejar tocado a Vanlalawmpuia, que retrocedió hasta las cuerdas. Ahí, un brutal cruzado diestro en un cruce estalló contra el visitante, que se mantuvo de pie pese a estar desmadejado y fue golpeado rápidamente pero con mucha dureza antes de que el árbitro saltara para detener las acciones.

With more skill and more agility, Tafa walked the ring a bit and was able to throw jabs and right hands against the slow Tuliloa, who couldn’t reach him if he stayed mobile. However, Tafa ended up stopping his feet and allowing his opponent to land some hooks. Although this was the kind of fight convenient for Tuliloa, in the third round Tafa hit him hard with hooks up and down before hurting him with a right hook to the head, the TKO coming after another right hook.
In the remaining fight, young welterweight Ty “Trigger” Telford 8(4KO)-1-1 defeated Indian boxer Vanlalawmpuia 4(3KO)-1(1)-1 in the first round.
More precise and forceful in the initial tests in the center of the ring, Telford only had to wait a few seconds to hurt Vanlalawmpuia, who stepped back to the ropes. There, a right hook in an exchange brutally hit the visitor, who remained on his feet despite being limp and was punched quickly and very hard before the referee jumped to stop the fight.
