Eddie Hearn sobre su evento del 29 de octubre: “Va a ser una fantástica noche en la capital”

El día 29 de octubre el Wembley Arena de Londres, Reino Unido, acogerá una interesante velada de Matchroom Boxing en la que se producirán los combates Katie Taylor vs. Karen Elizabeth Carabajal, Jordan Gill vs. Kiko Martínez y Caoimhin Agyarko vs. Peter Dobson, además de nuevos duelos para Gary Cully, Johnny Fisher, John Hedges y Jordan Reynolds. Así, el promotor Eddie Hearn auguró una gran noche para el pugilismo en Londres.
Respecto al combate estelar, Hearn espera que, tras la pelea Taylor-Serrano, en esta ocasión acudan más aficionados para ver a la irlandesa:
“Estoy entusiasmado por ver a Katie de nuevo en acción después de su épica victoria sobre Amanda Serrano en una noche histórica en Nueva York. Katie es una de las superestrellas del boxeo y, más que eso, una pionera para el deporte femenino, y es genial tenerla de vuelta en el estadio en el que hizo su debut en 2016. Es siempre un honor organizar las peleas de Katie y no tengo duda de que, después de su combate del año con Amanda en abril, una nueva oleada de fans abarrotará el Wembley Arena para ver a este icono combatir contra una dura, hambrienta e invicta argentina”.
En cuanto al resto del evento, Hearn señaló:
“Tenemos una gran cartelera respaldando al combate estelar: Jordan se enfrenta a la siempre peligrosa leyenda española Kiko, Caoimhin continua su marcha hacia títulos importantes, Gary pelea por primera vez con Matchroom, Johnny trae su Bosh Army de sensacionales fans de vuelta a Wembley y los talentos invictos John Hedges y Jordan Reynolds dan sus siguientes pasos en sus incipientes carreras. Va a ser una fantástica noche en la capital”.

On October 29, the Wembley Arena in London, United Kingdom, will be the venue for an interesting Matchroom Boxing evening in which will take place the fights Katie Taylor vs. Karen Elizabeth Carabajal, Jordan Gill vs. Kiko Martinez and Caoimhin Agyarko vs. Peter Dobson. Also, Gary Cully, Johnny Fisher, John Hedges and Jordan Reynolds will face new duels. Thus, promoter Eddie Hearn predicted a great night for boxing in London.
Regarding the main event, Hearn expects that, after the fight Taylor-Serrano, this time more fans will come to see the Irish boxer:
“I’m delighted to see Katie back in action following her epic victory over Amanda in a historic night in New York,” said Eddie Hearn. “Katie is one of the superstars of boxing and more than that a pioneer for women’s sport, and it’s great to have her return to the arena that she made her debut in 2016. It’s always an honour to stage Katie’s fights and I have no doubt that after her fight of the year with Amanda in April, a new wave of fans will pack the Wembley Arena to see this icon perform against the tough, hungry and unbeaten Argentine”.
As for the rest of the event, Hearn said:
