Antes de que Jon Fernández y Samuel Molina subiesen al ring contra, respectivamente, José Osado y Viorel Simion, el peso semipesado Adrián Torres 4(2KO)-1(1)-1 venció al sustituto, debutante en el boxeo (aunque con experiencia en muay thai), Ousmani Traoré 0(KO)-1. Las puntuaciones fueron de 40-37, 40-36 y un más justo 39-37.
El largo alcance y la movilidad de Traoré le sirvieron a éste para impactar jabs y evitar manos en el round inicial, pero en el segundo asalto Torres empezó a impactar su directo diestro y golpes al torso. Con su planteamiento defensivo con acciones elusivas y agarres, en adelante Traoré evitó situaciones de peligro y obligó a su contrincante a estar muy atento, pero Torres usó bien los bloqueos, se mantuvo firme en su presión y, aunque erró golpes, conectó los puños más significativos con su derecha recta y sus hooks y cruzados aislados, logrando el triunfo en el interesante choque de estilos.
Este combate fue precedido por un choque realmente vergonzoso, en el que la peso pluma española Alba Sánchez 2(1KO)-0 no tuvo que esforzarse ni lo más mínimo para vencer en 30 segundos a una rival que había sido seleccionada para perder rápido como la debutante búlgara Valentina Hristova 0(0KO)-1(1).
La gran pregunta es dónde se encontró a Hristova, puesto que no sabía boxear y ella misma se giraba al errar sus mal ejecutados puños. Así, tras unos tibios rectos que no la dañaron, Hristova se quedó parada, girada, confusa y sin intención de responder, por lo que al árbitro no le quedó otra que parar el encuentro.
La emisión de este evento se inicio con una victoria del peso medio Iker Fernández 2(0KO)-0 sobre el nicaragüense, residente en España, David Bency 14(4KO)-30(8)-2, que ofreció una meritoria actuación y que pareció merecer cartulinas más cercanas (un empate habría sido perfectamente justificable) que las que dieron los jueces: absurdo 40-36, 39-37 y un 39-38.
Con una insuficiente cadencia de golpes y considerable sobreconfianza, Fernández dejó que Bency tomase la iniciativa e impactase una notable cantidad de golpes curvos en corta y ciertos jabs y directos en la distancia media. Es cierto que Fernández, que tenía una apreciable ventaja en dimensiones, tenía una ejecución técnica superior y que en momentos, como el segundo round, impactó las manos más claras, pero tras los cuatro asaltos resultó cuestionable que sus aislados puños precisos hubiesen compensado el continuado trabajo de un Bency que conectó más cantidad de manos y que de haber tenido otro récord habría recibido otro tipo de veredicto.

Before Jon Fernández and Samuel Molina stepped into the ring to face, respectively, José Osado and Viorel Simion, light heavyweight Adrián Torres 4(2KO)-1(1)-1 defeated the substitute, debutant in boxing (although with experience in muay thai), Ousmani Traoré 0(KO)-1. The scores were 40-37, 40-36 and a fairer 39-37.
Traoré’s long reach and mobility helped him land jabs and dodge hands in the opening round, but in the second round Torres started landing his straight right and body shots. With his defensive approach through elusive actions and holds, from then on Traoré avoided dangerous situations and forced his opponent to be very alert, but Torres used his blocks well, remained firm in his pressure and, although he missed punches, landed the more significant hands with his straight rights and isolated hooks, achieving victory in the interesting clash of styles.
This fight was preceded by a really embarrassing clash, in which the Spanish featherweight Alba Sánchez 2(1KO)-0 did not have to make the slightest effort to beat in 30 seconds an opponent who had been selected to lose quickly as the Bulgarian debutant Valentina Hristova 0(0KO)-1(1).
The big question is where Hristova was found, since she didn’t know how to box and turned when she missed her punches without technique. Thus, after some tepid straight shots from Sánchez that did not hurt her opponent, Hristova stood still, turned and confused, and with no intention of answering, so the referee had no choice but to stop the bout.
The broadcast of this event began with a victory for the Spaniard middleweight Iker Fernández 2(0KO)-0 over the Nicaraguan, resident in Spain, David Bency 14(4KO)-30(8)-2, who offered a meritorious performance and that seemed to deserve closer cards (a draw would have been perfectly justifiable) than those given by the judges: absurd 40-36, 39-37 and 39-38.
With an insufficient punching rate and considerable overconfidence, Fernandez let Bency take the initiative and land a notable number of hooks at short range and some jabs and straight punches in the middle distance. It is true that Fernández, who had an appreciable advantage in size, had a superior punching technique and that at moments, such as the second round, he connected the clearest hands. But after four rounds it was questionable that his isolated precise punches had surpassed the continued work from Bency, who landed more hands and who, if he had had another record, would have received a different verdict.
