Con dos combates mundiales masculinos, una pelea por un título indiscutido femenino, varios duelos interesantes sin cinturón en juego y diversas veladas emitidas a través de YouTube, este fin de semana se presenta interesante.
Jueves 3 de noviembre
Como tantos otros jueves, la actividad relevante comenzará con una velada de UFC Fight Pass, en esta ocasión organizada por Tom Loeffler desde el Quiet Cannon Country Club de Montebello, Estados Unidos. En el combate coestelar el peso superwélter ucraniano Serhii Bohachuk 20(20KO)-1(1) buscará seguir alejándose de su única derrota (ante Brandon Adams) y escalar puestos en el ranking WBC (en el que es 9º) enfrentándose por un título menor al estadounidense Aaron Coley 16(7KO)-4-1, que nunca ha sido vencido antes del límite y cuyas únicas derrotas recientes fueron por decisión dividida y por mínima diferencia.
En este mismo cartel, dos prospectos como el irlandés Callum Walsh 4(3KO)-0 y el estadounidense Omar Cande 9(7KO)-0-1 disputarán peleas de desarrollo, respectivamente, en el peso superwélter ante Delen Parsley 13(4KO)-1 y en el peso pluma ante José Edgardo García 13(9KO)-2(1)-3.
Viernes 4 de noviembre
El evento de más calibre que se producirá el viernes tendrá lugar en el Whitesands Events Center de Plant City, Estados Unidos, emitido por el servicio de streaming ProBox Tv. La pugna estelar será la final del torneo Last Chance en la categoría del peso superligero, en la que se enfrentarán el estadounidense Kendo Castañeda 19(9KO)-5(1) y el mexicano Antonio “Toño” Morán 28(19KO)-5(1)-1. Aunque Castañeda empezó bien en el torneo con una rápida victoria, su actuación ante Joseph Fernández resultó poco convincente, mientras que Morán ha sido más consistente. Por ello, se considera que, si Castañeda no logra dañar a su rival en una acción aislada, es posible que Morán pueda imponerse en una decisión haciendo valer su destreza.
En el semifondo de este evento, el pegador mexicano del peso ligero Miguel “Explosivo” Madueño 27(25KO)-1 tratará de regresar a la senda del triunfo tras su tropiezo en marzo ante Jezzrel Corrales enfrentándose al olímpico panameño Juan Huertas 16(12KO)-3(2)-1 que, tras pasar por una mala racha, en 2022 regresó anotándose dos victorias.
Por otro lado, desde el Nissan Arena de Brisbane, Australia, FOX Australia emitirá un nuevo combate del prospecto del peso pesado, bronce mundial amateur, Justis Huni 6(4KO)-0, que intentará ingresar en el ranking WBO, defender su título OPBF y realizar comparaciones con Demsey McKean enfrentándose a un púgil que ganó algunos rounds ante éste como el neozelandés Kiki Toa Leutele 8(7KO)-1-2.
En cuando al respaldo, el peso semipesado Jerome Pampellone 14(8KO)-0 tratará de mantener su firme avance profesional midiéndose al exranqueado Faris Chevalier 13(7KO)-2, quien pese a llegar de una derrota contra pronóstico anteriormente logró triunfos destacables, entre ellos uno ante el exretador mundial Blake Caparello.
Antes de pasar a los otros duelos destacados, también se puede mencionar que en el Coliseo Carlos “Teo” Cruz de Santo Domingo, República Dominicana, emitido por YouTube, Shuan Boxing ofrecerá una velada en la que el puertorriqueño, excampeón mundial del peso mínimo, Wilfredo “Bimbito” Méndez 17(6KO)-2(1) afrontará su segunda pelea de recuperación ante el mexicano Moisés Caro 10(5KO)-1(1)-3, que sólo ha sido derrotado por el peligrosísimo oro olímpico Hasanboy Dusmatov.
Además, el peso semipesado cubano Ernesbadi Begue 7(5KO)-0 afrontará un paso adelante ante el experimentado mexicano Paul Valenzuela 27(17KO)-11(5), que ofreció una complicada pelea al estadounidense D’Mitrius Ballard.
En la jornada se producirán estos otros choques:
-En el Estadio F.A.B. de Buenos Aires, Argentina, TyC Sports emitirá un campeonato de Sudamérica del peso ligero en el que el titular Agustín Quintana 17(12KO)-1-1 será muy claro favorito para vencer al venezolano Yoni Blanco 14(13KO)-1(1).
-En el Brantford Civic Centre de Brantford, Canadá, el peso superwélter Jessie Wilcox 16(10KO)-0-2 disputará el segundo combate pactado a diez asaltos de su carrera ante el mexicano Iván “Zurdo” Álvarez 31(21KO)-14(5)-3.
-En Guadalajara, México, el invicto peso supergallo José Ángel García 7(6KO)-0-2 se enfrentará a un rival con resultados muy irregulares como Benito “Canelito” Sánchez 15(3KO)-6(3)-2.
Sábado 5 de noviembre
El mayor enfrentamiento de la semana será el campeonato mundial WBA del peso semipesado entre el titular Dmitriy Bivol y el exmonarca del peso supermedio Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramírez, pelea que tendrá importantes consecuencias. Previa siguiendo el link.
En el respaldo se producirá un choque por el título indiscutido del peso superligero femenino entre la británica Chantelle Cameron y la estadounidense, monarca indiscutida del peso wélter, Jessica McCaskill. Unas horas más tarde, Premier Boxing Champions ofrecerá una velada encabezada por el choque del peso supermedio entre el cubano David Morrell Jr. y el kazajo Aidos Yerbossynuly. En el respaldo principal, el excampeón Jeison Rosario se medirá al sustituto Brian Mendoza y el invicto Fiodor Czerkaszyn afrontará un test ante Nathaniel Gallimore. Previa siguiendo el link.
Por otro lado, aunque la gran mayoría de los combates tendrán clarísimos favoritos, se puede mencionar que en el Rudolf Weber-Arena de Oberhausen, Alemania, Universum emitirá por YouTube una velada con en torno a una decena de enfrentamientos. En ella participarán tres invictos prospectos del peso pesado como el kazajo Zhan Kossobutskiy 18(17KO)-0, el cubano José Larduet 8(7KO)-0 y el franco-ruso Mourad Aliev 5(3KO)-0, quienes no deberían tener problemas para noquear respectivamente a Ali Kiydin 16(15KO)-1(1), Hussein Muhamed 17(14KO)-0 y Yakup Saglam 46(42KO)-7(5).
Al margen de estas pugnas que serán básicamente una oportunidad para ver a púgiles que podrían alcanzar combates importantes en el futuro, destaca un choque mejor emparejado entre el 12º WBA del peso semipesado Armenak Hovhannisyan 13(5KO)-1-1 y el imbatido Rostam Ibrahim 10(6KO)-0-2, que el año pasado sacó un empate contra pronóstico ante Toni Kraft.
El sábado también sobresalen estos otros choques:
-En el Omega Products International de Sacramento, Estados Unidos, Thompson Boxing retransmitirá por YouTube una velada encabezada por un encuentro del peso gallo entre el local Eros Correa 12(8KO)-1 y el mexicano, con varias actuaciones meritorias, Luis Fernando Saavedra 9(3KO)-7.
-En Guidonia Montecelio, Italia, se producirá un bien emparejado duelo del peso crucero entre dos excampeones nacionales como el local Luca “Gentleman” D’Ortenzi 16(4KO)-2 y el francés Eddy Lacrosse 13(6KO)-8-2.
-En el Fortitude Music Hall de Fortitude Valley, Australia, los pesos semipesados Conor Wallace 9(6KO)-1 y Leti Leti 16(12KO)-1 disputarán una revancha de su combate de 2021 (ganado por Wallace).
-En el Korakuen Hall de Tokio, Japón, el exretador mundial del peso superwélter Takeshi Inoue 18(10KO)-2-1 intentará escalar en la lista WBO peleando por un título menor ante el duro exaspirante al título nacional japonés Ryosuke Tenyu Maruki 18(13KO)-7(1)-2.
-En el ISPI Paul Harris de Roldán, Argentina, el 11º IBF del peso supermosca Kevin “Diamante” Muñoz 14(5KO)-1(1) expondrá su cinturón de Sudamérica ante el boliviano Miguel Angel Cañido 15(6KO)-19(6), que viene de lograr una gran sorpresa batiendo por KOT a Juan Carlos Reveco.
-En el York Hall de Londres, Reino Unido, los invictos Bryce Goodridge 6(0KO)-0 y Chris Davies 16(1KO)-0 se enfrentarán por el el cinto británico Southern Area del peso semipesado.
-En el Commerce Casino de Commerce, Estados Unidos, los prospectos Armand Manuelian 5(5KO)-0 y Dariial Kuchmenov 5(3KO)-0 afrontarán buenos tests peleando, respectivamente, en el peso superligero contra Cristian Domínguez 11(6KO)-4 y en el peso pluma contra César Villarraga 10(5KO)-5(1)-1.

With two men’s world championships, a fight for an undisputed women’s title, several interesting duels without a belt at stake and some evenings broadcast on YouTube, this weekend looks interesting.
Thursday, November 3
Like so many other Thursdays, the relevant boxing activity will begin with an evening aired on UFC Fight Pass, this time organized by Tom Loeffler from the Quiet Cannon Country Club in Montebello, United States. In the co-main event, the Ukrainian super welterweight Serhii Bohachuk 20(20KO)-1(1) will seek his third win since his only loss (against Brandon Adams) and will try to climb in the WBC rankings (in which he is 9th) facing the American Aaron Coley 16(7KO)-4-1, who has never been stopped and whose only recent losses were by split decision and narrow difference.
In this same bill, two prospects like the Irish Callum Walsh 4(3KO)-0 and the American Omar Cande 9(7KO)-0-1 will face development fights, respectively, at super welterweight against Delen Parsley 13(4KO)-1 and at featherweight against José Edgardo García 13(9KO)-2(1)-3.
Friday, November 4
The most important event on Friday will take place at the Whitesands Events Center in Plant City, United States, broadcast by the ProBox TV streaming service. The main event will be the final of the Last Chance tournament in the super lightweight division, in which the American Kendo Castañeda 19(9KO)-5(1) and the Mexican Antonio “Toño” Morán 28(19KO)-5(1)-1 will clash. Although Castañeda started the tournament well with a quick win, his performance against Joseph Fernandez was less than convincing, while Morán has been more consistent. For this reason, it is considered that if Castañeda fails to hurt his opponent in an isolated action, it is possible that Morán can win by decision using his skill.
In the undercard of this event, the Mexican lightweight puncher Miguel “Explosivo” Madueño 27(25KO)-1 will try to return to the winning ways, after his setback in March against Jezzrel Corrales, facing the Panamanian Olympian Juan Huertas 16(12KO)-3(2)-1 who, after going through a bad run, in 2022 returned to the ring scoring two victories.
