Se ha hablado mucho sobre un presunto robo a Sandor Martín ante Teófimo López, pero si hubo un combate en el fin de semana que realmente mereció calificarse como robo fue el que sostuvieron el ruso-azerí Elnur Samedov 15(5KO)-1 y el marroquí residente en España Moussa Gholam 19(12KO)-1. Y es que Gholam derribó a su rival, lo puso más tarde en graves problemas y tuvo más asaltos de clara superioridad con incisivos puños, si bien los jueces le dieron el triunfo al local con una decisión dividida.
En el primer round Gholam sacudió a Samedov con un directo diestro, pero él también fue estremecido por un hook del ruso, por lo que, pese a algunos clinches de más, el combate arrancó emocionante. En él, un Gholam con ventaja en altura se movía por el ring buscando contragolpear a un Samedov que intentaba acortar la distancia y sacar golpes de poder curvos. Con este planteamiento, en el segundo round Gholam se anotó un knockdown al impactar un golpe de poder que hizo tambalearse al local hasta terminar cayendo.
De todos modos, Samedov se recuperó pronto y en adelante insistió en sus arremetidas para llevar a las cuerdas y anotar ganchos claros contra un Gholam que entonces se replegó demasiado y no utilizó con suficiente constancia sus veloces rectos. No obstante, hacia la mitad Gholam ajustó, tomó la iniciativa y llegó con un mayor número de nítidas manos, destacando excelentes uppercuts, por lo que pareció alcanzar un punto de inflexión. Samedov intentó reaccionar en un buen octavo asalto, pero en el noveno fue puesto en críticos apuros por un gancho zurdo de Gholam y fue hostigado duramente, aunque resistió y tiró lo que le quedaba en el último asalto para intentar evitar la derrota.

Much has been said about the alleged robbery Sandor Martín suffered against Teófimo López, but if there was a fight over the weekend that really deserved to be labeled as a robbery, it was the one between the Russian-Azerbaijani Elnur Samedov 15(5KO)-1 and the Moroccan resident in Spain Moussa Gholam 19(12KO)-1. Gholam knocked down his opponent, later put him in serious trouble and had many rounds of clear superiority with incisive punches, although the judges gave the victory to the local with a split decision.
In the first round, Gholam rocked Samedov with a straight right hand, but he was rocked too by a hook from the Russian, so despite a few clinches, the fight got off to an exciting start. In it, Gholam, who had height advantage, moved around the ring looking to counter Samedov, who tried to close the distance and land power shots in hook. With this approach from the boxers, in the second round Gholam scored a knockdown by landing a power shot that made the local wobble until he ended up falling.
However, Samedov recovered quickly and thereafter insisted on his lunges to drive to the ropes his opponent and land clear hooks against Gholam, who then stepped back too much and did not use his fast straight punches consistently enough. However, towards the half point Gholam adjusted, took the initiative and landed a superior number of sharp hands, highlighting some excellent uppercuts, so he seemed to reach a turning point. Samedov tried to rally in a good eighth round, but in the ninth he was put in critical trouble by a left hook from Gholam and was attacked hard, though he resisted and threw what he had left in the final round trying to avoid defeat.
