Tishchenko derrotó al exaspirante mundial Mann, Jorge Linares fue vencido por Hamazaryan

Tras una pausa demasiado larga para esperar que acabase un partido de baloncesto y un cambio de cadena, la cartelera principal del evento de RCC Boxing continuó con un nuevo combate del peso crucero, oro olímpico, Evgeny Tishchenko 11(7KO)-1, que derrotó al exaspirante mundial kazajo-alemán Artur Mann 19(10KO)-3(2) por decisión unánime.
Mann intentó avanzar sobre su contrincante, pero el zurdo Tishchenko se mostró muy atento y preciso al contragolpe, conectando muy buenos ganchos al torso y directos, además de secos jabs, para frenar la presión del visitante. El ruso pareció dañar un tanto a Mann con un gancho al torso en el final del segundo asalto, pero el alemán se recuperó y siguió en la pelea, aunque igualmente en una situación de inferioridad, errando manos, estrellando otras contra los bloqueos del favorito y recibiendo golpes claros.
En el sexto asalto Mann cayó dos veces, aunque Tischenko no tiene ni una demoledora pegada ni un gran instinto de knockout, por lo que su oponente pasó los apuros y logró alcanzar la última campana.
Linares sufrió otra derrota
Por lo que se refiere al venezolano Jorge “El Niño de Oro” Linares 47(29KO)-8(6), éste padeció su tercera derrota consecutiva, esta vez por decisión y ante el armenio Zhora Hamazaryan 13(9KO)-3-2, quedando su carrera en una posición realmente comprometida.
En el centro del ring ambos púgiles intercambiaron jabs, uno-dos y ganchos zurdos hasta que Hamazaryan empezó a empujar hacia las cuerdas a Linares, que fue golpeado por duros uppercuts, hooks y directos. Sin embargo, Hamazaryan no tuvo un volumen de golpes demasiado elevado y Linares tuvo sus momentos con su experiencia, habilidad natural y velocidad de manos antes de que en el quinto round fuese puesto en apuros por los derechazos y uppercuts diestros del armenio.
Intentando evitar la definitiva debacle en su carrera, Linares intentó atacar a la desesperada y sacar uno-dos-hooks, pero en general se fue llevando la peor parte debido a los buenos golpes de poder de Hamazaryan, siendo conducido a la derrota por decisión a pesar de los éxitos parciales que obtuvo en el último tramo ante un oponente que se desplazó demasiado.

After a long pause to wait for a basketball game to end, the main card of the RCC Boxing event began with a new bout for cruiserweight, Olympic gold medalist, Evgeny Tishchenko 11(7KO)-1, who defeated Kazakh-German former world title challenger Artur Mann 19(10KO)-3(2) by unanimous decision.
Mann tried to advance over his opponent, but the southpaw Tishchenko was very alert and counterpunched precisely, connecting very good hooks to the body and straight hands, as well as sharp jabs, to stop the visitor’s pressure. The Russian seemed to hurt Mann a bit with a hook to the body late in the second round, but the German recovered and kept fighting, albeit he still had tactical difficulties, missing hands, crashing others into the favorite’s guard and receiving clear shots.
In the sixth round Mann was knocked down twice, although Tischenko has neither a big punch nor great knockout instinct, so his opponent dealt with the troubles and made it to the final bell.
Linares suffered another defeat
Regarding the Venezuelan Jorge «El Niño de Oro» Linares 47(29KO)-8(6), he suffered his third consecutive defeat, this time against the Armenian Zhora Hamazaryan 13(9KO)-3-2, so his career is in a really compromised situation.
In the center of the ring, the two fighters traded jabs, one-twos and left hooks until Hamazaryan began pushing Linares towards the ropes and hit him with hard uppercuts, hooks and straight hands. However, Hamazaryan did not have a high punch output and Linares had his moments using his experience, natural ability and hand speed before he was hurt in the fifth round by the Armenian’s right hands and uppercuts.
Trying to avoid the ultimate disaster in his career, Linares looked desperately to attack and land one-two-hooks, but overall he received more punishment due to the good power shots from Hamazaryan, the Venezuelan being led to a decision loss despite the partial successes he obtained in the last stretch against an opponent who moved too much.
