Dado que el primer duelo entre ambas fue en Nueva York, ciudad de residencia de Serrano y en la que viven muchos puertorriqueños, el deseo de Hearn es que la revancha se dispute en Irlanda, donde se espera que se pueda llenar un gran estadio.

In recent days, promoter Eddie Hearn has not stopped offering interviews, stating in one of them (for DAZN) that, if Amanda Serrano manages to defeat Erika Cruz for the undisputed featherweight crown, the plan is for the Puerto Rican and the undisputed lightweight titleholder Katie Taylor to meet in a rematch in May. Given that the first duel between the two boxers was in New York, Serrano’s city of residence and where many Puerto Ricans live, Hearn’s wish is for the rematch to take place in Ireland, where it could fill a big stadium.
