Golden Boy Promotions confirma cartelera definitiva de su primera velada del año

El sábado de la semana que viene Golden Boy Promotions ofrecerá su primera velada del año desde el YouTube Theater de Inglewood, Estados Unidos, aunque hasta ahora no se había confirmado la cartelera definitiva que será emitida por DAZN debido a la baja de uno de los boxeadores y a que el rival de otro estaba pendiente de confirmación. De todos modos, ahora que se ha anunciado el conjunto de combates, el evento de esta promotora, una vez más, no será para tirar cohetes precisamente.
En el combate estelar el protegido peso wélter Alexis Rocha se enfrentará a otro rival muy por debajo del nivel del top 15 como Anthony Young, que no es otra cosa que una piedra de toque pese a su racha de triunfos. Por otro lado, en el semifondo, el prometedor peso ligero Floyd Schofield sumará una nueva victoria ante el puertorriqueño Alberto Mercado, más conocido por perder amplísimamente ante O’Shaquie Foster y Chris Colbert.
En principio, la cartelera principal contará con otros dos enfrentamientos. En uno, el lesionado Wilfredo Méndez será sustituido por el mexicano Yudel Reyes en la eliminatoria final WBO del peso mínimo que disputará Óscar Collazo, mientras que el peso supermedio Bektemir Melikuziev se verá las caras con Ulises Sierra, uno de los boxeadores que fue derrotado en el primer asalto por Edgar Berlanga en su famosa racha de knockouts.
Es decir, en conjunto todos los combates tendrán clarísimos favoritos, y si en alguno de los duelos el no favorito logra ganar cuatro asaltos o más ya se habrán superado las expectativas…

Anyway, now that all the fights are set, the event of this promotional company, once again, will not be exactly spectacular.
