Julian “Gifted” González mantuvo su 100% de knockouts batiendo por KOT al invicto Rosalindo Morales

El pegador estadounidense Julian “Gifted” González 9(9KO)-0-1 prometió que iba a ofrecer un gran espectáculo en esta gran oportunidad, en la que pretendía demostrar que su empate de tres peleas atrás no fue muestra de su rendimiento real. Su misión fue cumplida con total éxito, ya que González fue muy superior al hasta ahora invicto Rosalindo Morales 9(2KO)-1(1) y le derrotó por KOT en el cuarto asalto.
Las cosas sucedieron rápido en el primer asalto. González pronto empezó a conectar buenos directos diestros al cuerpo, golpes que posteriormente impactó secos al rostro. Morales trató de realizar alguna contraofensiva para reducir la presión, pero estas fallaron y González continuó con su metódico trabajo, desgastando a su oponente hasta que éste cayó justo antes de la campana tras un brutal cruzado diestro.
Con muchos problemas Morales se alzó, y habría perdido si no se hubiese terminado el round, pero en el siguiente asalto batalló con muchísima garra intentando llegar con sus hooks en corta hasta que González volvió a obligarle a retroceder y le castigó con sus derechazos y sus hooks zurdos.
Aunque Morales se estaba esforzando mucho, su lenguaje corporal no era bueno, pareciendo que por su valentía iba a resistir todo lo que pudiese y que eso iba a ponerle en riesgo serio. Por ello, si bien algunos protestaron la detención considerando que fue demasiado temprana, no pareció para nada desacertado que el árbitro detuviese el combate en el cuarto round cuando González estremeció a su rival con tres derechazos y le obligó a agarrarse.
Más allá de su 100% de triunfos por knockout, González es un boxeador de sólo 21 años que mostró una gran precisión y notable eficacia en su primera pelea televisada a grandes audiencias. De ese modo, a falta de muchos más tests que demuestren hasta dónde llegará su nivel y en qué tiene que trabajar más, de momento todo marcha bien para González y pronto deberíamos verle en nuevas veladas de cierto relieve.

American puncher Julian «Gifted» González 9(9KO)-0-1 promised that he was going to offer a great show in this big opportunity, in which he also pretended to prove that his draw from three fights ago had nothing to do with his actual level. His mission was met with total success, since González was far superior to the until now undefeated Rosalindo Morales 9(2KO)-1(1) and beat him by fourth round TKO.
Things happened fast in the first round. González soon began to connect good straight right hands to the body that later he landed sharply to the face. Morales tried to throw some counterattacks to reduce the pressure, but these failed and González continued his methodical work, wearing down his opponent until dropping him shortly before the bell with a brutal overhand right.
With many difficulties, Morales got up, and would have lost if the round had not finished, but in the next round he fought with a lot of grit trying to connect his hooks at short range until González forced him to go back again and punished him with his right hands and left hooks.
Despite Morales was trying hard, his body language was not good, and it seemed that because of his courage he was going to resist everything he could and that was going to put him at serious risk. Therefore, although some criticized the stoppage considering that it came too soon, it did not seem at all inappropriate that the referee ended the fight in the fourth round when González rocked his opponent with three right hands and forced him to clinch.
Beyond his 100% knockout ratio, González is a boxer of only 21 years old who showed great precision and remarkable efficiency in his first fight televised to large audiences. In this way, in the absence of many more tests that show which will be his level and in which aspects he has to work more, for the moment everything is going well for González and soon we should see him in new evenings of some importance.
