Por un lado, para el campeonato por los cinturones mundiales WBA, WBC, IBF y WBO del peso pluma [57,2 kg o 126 lb], Amanda Serrano y Erika Cruz detuvieron la romana en 56,9 kg (125,4 lb). Por el otro, Alycia Baumgardner y Elhem Mekhaled pesaron 58,5 kg (129 lb) para la pugna por todos los cetros mundiales del peso superpluma [59,0 kg o 130 lb] femenino.
