Victoras de “Tukich”, Ataev y Samedov en el arranque del evento de RCC Boxing

En los tres primeros combates de la velada de RCC Boxing, los favoritos lograron triunfos, siendo uno de ellos el prospecto del peso medio “Tukich” Vadim Tukov 10(4KO)-0, que desplegó su habilidad para derrotar por decisión a un rival con varias actuaciones muy meritorias como el bielorruso de récord engañoso Viktar Murashkin 4(3KO)-6(1).
Como siempre, el control de la distancia de Tukov fue bueno, cosa que le permitió lidiar mejor que otros boxeadores con el jab y el gancho de mano adelantada de Murashkin. El visitante caminó por el ring intentando hacerse correoso, pero Tukov le acechó buscando la oportunidad para llegar con jabs, cruzados diestros, ganchos abajo y otros puños a la vez que efectuaba buenas esquivas. Por ello, no encontrando Murashkin la forma de sacar de su boxeo a su oponente pese a ciertos buenos golpes de poder aislados y pese a que intentó ajustar hacia el final, Tukov en general estableció un control táctico y se hizo con una merecida victoria.
Antes de ese combate, el invicto peso crucero Sharabutdin Ataev 4(3KO)-0 se anotó su mayor triunfo como profesional hasta la fecha venciendo al fogueado Igor Vilchitsky 6(1KO)-7(5) por decisión unánime.
El joven Ataev mostró una base técnica sólida ante su experimentado oponente, usando sus bloqueos, sus pasos atrás y esquivas de cintura para intentar reducir el efecto de los ataques de su rival y atacando con buena puntería con su jab, directo, uno-dos y gancho zurdo. Ataev se anotó un knockdown en el segundo round con un gancho al hígado acompañado de un empujón hacia abajo, pero aunque Vilchitsky volvió a ser dañado por golpes al cuerpo, acabó con la cara inflamada y sufrió bastante castigo, hizo lo que pudo para resistir e intentar dar trabajo y llegó a la última campana.
El evento arrancó con una victoria por abandono en el tercer asalto del peso superpluma Elnur Samedov 16(6KO)-1 sobre el voluntarioso uzbeko Mirzamukhammad Khikmatullaev 8(5KO)-5(2). Esta es la primera victoria de Samedov desde su controvertida victoria sobre Moussa Gholam.
El fuerte y zurdo Samedov presionó desde el comienzo, alcanzó la distancia corta y media-corta e impuso desde ella sus variados golpes de poder curvos arriba y abajo. Khikmatullaev intentó responder con sus ganchos, pero no podía igualar en explosividad y precisión a su contrincante. Así, tras tres asaltos de llevarse la peor parte en los intercambios, Khikmatullaev abandonó.

In the first three bouts of the RCC Boxing card the favorites scored wins, one of them being middleweight prospect “Tukich” Vadim Tukov 10(4KO)-0, who displayed his ability to defeat by decision an opponent with some very meritorious performances, and with a misleading record, as Belarusian Viktar Murashkin 4(3KO)-6(1).
As always, Tukov’s distance control was good, something that allowed him to deal better than other boxers with Murashkin’s jab and lead hook. The visitor walked around the ring trying to be tricky, but Tukov chased him looking for the opportunity to land sharp jabs, right overhands, hooks down and other punches while dodging skillfully. So, with Murashkin unable to find a way to create serious difficulties despite some good isolated power shots and despite he attempted to adjust towards the end, overall Tukov established a tactical control and claimed a deserved victory.
Before that bout, undefeated cruiserweight Sharabutdin Ataev 4(3KO)-0 scored his biggest professional win to date by defeating seasoned Igor Vilchitsky 6(1KO)-7(5) by unanimous decision.
The young Ataev showed a solid technical base against his experienced opponent, using his blocks, steps back and waist dodges to try to reduce the effect of his opponent’s offensives and attacking him with good accuracy with jabs, straight right hands, one-twos and left hooks. Ataev scored a second-round knockdown with a hook to the liver followed by a downward push, but although Vilchitsky was hurt again by body shots, suffered swellings in his face and took quite a bit of punishment, he did what he could to resist and try to give work and reached the last bell.
The event kicked off with a third-round victory of super featherweight Elnur Samedov 16(6KO)-1 over Uzbek Mirzamukhammad Khikmatullaev 8(5KO)-5(2). This was Samedov’s first win since his controversial triumph over Moussa Gholam.
The strong, southpaw Samedov pressed from the start, reaching the close and medium-close range and connecting varied power shots changing levels. Khikmatullaev tried to counter with his hooks, but he couldn’t match his opponent’s explosiveness and precision. Thus, after three rounds of taking the brunt in the exchanges, Khikmatullaev refused to continue.
