Se suponía que el irlandés Caoimhin Agyarko 13(7KO)-0 debía noquear al británico, con problemas de encaje, Grant Dennis 18(3KO)-5(2) para evitar acercarse a los dos años sin ganar antes del límite. Sin embargo, Agyarko fue incapaz de noquear a un Dennis con muchas brechas y ante el que tenía todo tipo de ventajas, venciéndole por decisión unánime (100-90, 100-90, 100-90).
Aprovechando su explosividad, Agyarko comenzó trabajando con ganchos al torso y posteriormente empezó a apuntar a la cabeza. La cartelera principal del evento se inició con una victoria del peso pesado irlandés Thomas “The Bomber” Carty 6(5KO)-0 sobre el británico, en muy bajo estado de forma, Jay “The Ghost” McFarlane 14(5KO)-8(2), que hace medio año aguantó ocho rounds contra el olímpico Guido Vianello.
Después de un feo primer asalto marcado por la tosquedad y los agarres desordenados, en el segundo asalto el zurdo Carty mostró su velocidad y pegada derribando a McFarlane con un uno-dos. De todos modos, la pelea siguió entre clinches y algunos eventuales directos de Carty hasta que en el tercer round este último tumbó a su contrincante con otro uno-dos. McFarlane se levantó, pero tras unos cuantos hooks volvió a caer y la pelea se detuvo.

Irishman Caoimhin Agyarko 13(7KO)-0 was supposed to knock out Brit, with chin issues, Grant Dennis 18(3KO)-5(2) to avoid getting closer to two years without winning by stoppage. However, Agyarko was unable to knock out Dennis, boxer with many flaws (and against whom he had all kinds of advantages) who was defeated by unanimous decision (100-90, 100-90, 100-90)
Taking advantage of his explosiveness, Agyarko began working with body shots and later targeted the head. Dennis tried to use his jab and counter with left hooks, but Agyarko’s advantage in speed and skill allowed him to be much more effective. In addition, the favorite had much more freshness and more reflexes, so Agyarko achieved a wide lead on the scorecards in a low-paced fight in which the actions were in general tactical.
Since Agyarko took very few risks, he hardly ever pressured with intensity and on several occasions had problems measuring distance, which lead him to imprecise offensives, the unbeaten boxer didn’t seriously damage his opponent until the seventh round. Anyway, then his search for the TKO was quite bad and in the following rounds he renounced to being aggressive and did not launch enough attacks, so for the third time in a row he obtained a wide decision win but raised doubts about future important steps up.

After an ugly first round marked by technical crudeness and messy holds, in the second round the southpaw Carty showed his speed and punch dropping McFarlane with a one-two. In any case, the fight continued between clinches and some straight shots from Carty until, in the third round, the latter knocked down his opponent with another one-two. McFarlane got up, but after a few hooks he went down again and the fight was stopped.
