Ni Keith Thurman ni Mario Barrios tuvieron problema alguno para dar el peso wélter [66,7 kg o 147 lb] de cara a la eliminatoria WBC que disputarán este sábado en el encuentro estelar de una cartelera en PPV de Premier Boxing Champions desde el Michelob Ultra Arena de Las Vegas, Estados Unidos. Thurman pesó sólo 66,0 kg (145,5 lb) y Barrios marcó 66,3 kg (146,25 lb), así que ambos se mostraron en forma y preparados para su decisivo enfrentamiento.
En cuanto al retorno del excampeón mundial Leo Santa Cruz ante Keenan Carbajal, los púgiles estuvieron por debajo del peso superpluma [59,0 kg o 130 lb], dando respectivamente cantidades de 58,4 kg (128,75 lb) y de 58,5 kg (129 lb).
La pugna Santa Cruz vs. Carbajal estará precedida por un combate del peso superwélter [69,9 kg o 154 lb]. En este Jesús Ramos, que pesó 69,2 kg (152,5 lb), será favorito para imponerse a Vladimir Hernández, que paró la báscula en 69,6 kg (153,5 lb).
El restante enfrentamiento del tramo en PPV será el duelo del peso supergallo [55,3 kg o 122 lb] entre el extitular Luis Nery y el invicto Carlos Castro, que se ajustaron al límite de la división con cifras válidas de 55,1 kg (121,5 lb) y de 55,2 kg (121,75 lb).
En Estados Unidos un PPV de FOX televisará estos combate desde las las 21:00 ET/18:00 PT. En otros países se puede comprar un PPV de Fite que se iniciará a las 3:00 de la madrugada del sábado al domingo en hora española.

Keith Thurman and Mario Barrios didn’t have any problem making weight for the WBC welterweight [66.7 kg or 147 lb] eliminator that they will have this Saturday in the main match of a Premier Boxing Champions PPV card from the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, United States. Thurman weighed in at just 66.0 kg (145.5 lb) and Barrios weighed in at 66.3 kg (146.25 lb), so both looked fit and ready for their decisive showdown.
Regarding the return of former world champion Leo Santa Cruz against Keenan Carbajal, the fighters were below the super featherweight limit [59.0 kg or 130 lb], as they stopped the scale in respective amounts of 58.4 kg (128.75 lb) and 58.5 kg (129 lb).
The Santa Cruz vs. Carbajal fight will be preceded by a super welterweight [69.9 kg or 154 lb] bout. In it, Jesús Ramos, who weighed 69.2 kg (152.5 lb), will be the favorite to beat Vladimir Hernández, who hit the scale at 69.6 kg (153.5 lb).
The remaining match of the PPV segment will be the super bantamweight [55.3 kg or 122 lb] duel between former titleholder Luis Nery and undefeated Carlos Castro, whom fit in the division limit with valid figures of 55.1 kg (121.5 lb) and 55.2 kg (121.75 lb).
A FOX PPV will broadcast these fights from 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT.
