Todo está preparado para que esta noche la Plaza Monumental de Tijuana, México, acoja una velada de Golden Boy y Zanfer emitida por DAZN, cartelera que, sobre el papel, contará con combates con evidentes favoritos en sus pugnas principales. En el choque estelar se enfrentarán Jaime Munguía y D’Mitrius Ballard, quienes dieron la misma cantidad en la báscula 72,3 kg (159,5 lb). Tras el pesaje fue grabada una escena en la que Munguía parecía encontrarse mal, en principio por las dificultades para dar el peso, y se tuvo que sentar mientras le daban aire, de modo que hay cierta incógnita sobre si esto tendrá alguna consecuencia visible sobre el ring.
En cuanto a los enfrentamientos del respaldo en otros dos de ellos hubo una coincidencia plena entre los pesos de ambos boxeadores. Tanto William Zepeda como el sustituto Luis Ángel Viedas dieron 61,0 kg (134,5 lb) para su combate del peso ligero [61,2 kg o 135 lb], mientras que Diego Torres y Jonathan Escobedo marcaron ambos el mencionado techo de la categoría del peso ligero.
Para el restante choque de la cartelera principal, duelo del peso pluma (57,2 kg o 126 lb), Rafael Espinoza paró la báscula en 56,7 kg (125 lb) y Alie Laurel dio el límite de la división, 57,2 kg (126 lb).
DAZN retransmitirá el evento esta noche desde las 18:00 en hora de Tijuana, las 3:00 de la madrugada en España y las 21:00 ET/18:00 PT en Estados Unidos.

Everything is ready for tonight’s Golden Boy and Zanfer evening broadcasted by DAZN from the Plaza Monumental of Tijuana, Mexico, bill which, on paper, will feature matches with obvious favorites. In the main clash will fight Jaime Munguía against D’Mitrius Ballard, whom stopped the scale at 72.3 kg (159.5 lb). After the weigh-in, a scene was recorded in which Munguía seemed unwell, supposedly due to the difficulties in weighing in, so there is some question as to whether this will have visible consequences in the ring.
As for the support bouts, in another two of them there was a full coincidence between the weights of both boxers. William Zepeda and substitute Luis Ángel Viedas weighed 61.0 kg (134.5 lb) for their lightweight bout [61.2 kg or 135 lb], while Diego Torres and Jonathan Escobedo both weighed the aforementioned limit of the lightweight division.
For the remaining fight on the main card, a featherweight matchup (57.2 kg or 126 lb), Rafael Espinoza tipped the scale at 56.7 kg (125 lb) and Alie Laurel weighed the division limit, 57.2 kg (126 lbs).
