La expansión de la compañía Pro Box Promotions sigue adelante y, sumándose a otros eventos ya confirmados, ha sido anunciado que el día 24 de junio el campeón mundial WBO del peso minimosca, el puertorriqueño Jonathan “Bomba” González, realizará la primera defensa de su cinturón ante el olímpico filipino, y exretador mundial profesional, Mark Anthony Barriga. Este combate se producirá en el Osceola Heritage Park de Kissimmee, Estados Unidos.
Por otro lado, aunque sin dejar de hablar de las divisiones más ligeras, múltiples fuentes confirmaron que el campeón mundial WBO del peso supermosca, el japonés Kazuto Ioka, y su retador obligatorio, el filipino campeón en múltiples divisiones Donnie Nietes, han alcanzando un acuerdo para enfrentarse hacia el mes de julio en Japón. Este duelo será una revancha del combate que sostuvieron en Macao en Fin de Año de 2018, pelea terminada con una controvertida victoria por decisión dividida de Nietes.

The expansion of Pro Box Promotions continues and, in addition to other events already confirmed, it has been announced that on June 24 the WBO light flyweight world champion, Puerto Rican Jonathan «Bomba» González, will make the first defense of his belt against the Filipino Olympian, and former professional world challenger, Mark Anthony Barriga. This fight will take place at the Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, United States.
Still talking about the lighter divisions, multiple sources confirmed that the WBO world super flyweight champion, Japanese Kazuto Ioka, and his mandatory challenger, the Filipino multi-division champion Donnie Nietes, have reached an agreement to fight towards the month of July in Japan. This duel will be a rematch of the duel they had in Macau on 2018 New Year’s Eve, fight that ended with a controversial split decision victory for Nietes.
