La semana antes del enfrentamiento de revancha entre Oleksandr Usyk y Anthony Joshua ha estado marcada por muchos rumores sobre un supuesto gran aumento de peso por parte del ucraniano, campeón mundial WBA, WBO e IBF del peso pesado [+90,7 kg o +200 lb]. Pues bien, sobre la báscula Usyk pesó 100,5 kg (221 lb 9 oz), o sea sólo 100 gramos (3 oz) más que para el choque precedente, mientras que Joshua dio 110,9 kg (244 lb 8 oz), 2 kg más que para el primer choque.
En esta velada se producirá otro importante combate del peso pesado [+90,7 kg o +200 lb] como la eliminatoria IBF entre Filip Hrgović, que paró la báscula en 110,2 kg (243 lb), y Zhilei Zhang, que fue bastante más pesado con 125,7 kg (277 lb 2 oz).
También será una eliminatoria, en esta caso WBC y del peso semipesado [79,4 kg o 175 lb], el duelo que sostendrán Callum Smith y Mathieu Bauderlique, que dieron cifras válidas respectivas de 79,25 kg (174 lb 12 oz) y de 79,15 kg (174 lb 8 oz).
Respecto al choque del peso crucero [90,7 kg o 200 lb] que precederá a este encuentro, el exmonarca mundial Badou Jack dio 90,3 kg (199 lb 1 oz) y Richard Rivera marcó 88,4 kg (194 lb 14 oz).
Entre el resto de enfrentamientos de la velada destacan dos. Para uno de ellos, con un margen por encima del peso supergallo [55,3 kg o 122 lb], Ramla Ali dio 55,65 kg (122 lb 11 oz) y Crystal Garcia Nova pesó 55,75 kg (122 lb 14 oz), mientras que para el otro, duelo del peso pesado [+90,7 kg o +200 lb] Andrew Tabiti detuvo la romana en 98,3 kg (216 lb 12 oz) por los 108,2 kg (238 lb 9 oz) de su rival James Wilson.
Este evento será emitido por DAZN el sábado desde las 19:00 en hora española, las 13:00 ET/10:00 PT en Estados Unidos y las 18:00 en Reino Unido, donde será televisado a través de un PPV de Sky Sports.

The week of the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua has had many rumors about an alleged big weight gain by the Ukrainian WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight champion [+90.7 kg or +200 lb]. However, on the scale Usyk weighed 100.5 kg (221 lb 9 oz), that is, only 100 grams (3 oz) more than for the previous clash, while Joshua weighed 110.9 kg (244 lb 8 oz), 2 kg (4 lb 6 oz) more than for the first fight.
Another important heavyweight [+90.7 kg or +200 lb] bout will take place in this event, the IBF eliminator between Filip Hrgović, who stopped the scales at 110.2 kg (243 lb), and Zhilei Zhang, who was considerably heavier at 125.7 kg (277 lb 2 oz).
It will also be an eliminator, in this case WBC and in the light heavyweight division [79.4 kg or 175 lb], the bout between Callum Smith and Mathieu Bauderlique, who weighed respectively 79.25 kg (174 lb 12 oz) and 79.15 kg (174 lb 8 oz).
