En esta ocasión el sábado no se produjeron todos los combates de relieve del fin de semana boxístico, sino que todavía falta por producirse el cartel de PBC que hoy se desarrollará en el Staples Center (Crypto.com Arena) de Los Ángeles, Estados Unidos. La velada estará encabezada por el combate del peso pesado [+90,7 kg o +200 lb] entre el excampeón mundial Andy Ruiz y el exaspirante mundial Luis Ortiz.
Para este combate Ruiz pesó 121,9 kg (268,75 lb), cinco kilogramos más que para su última pelea ante Arreola y sólo unos gramos más que cuando derrotó a Anthony Joshua. Por su parte Ortiz paró la romana en 111,4 kg (245,5 lb), o sea la cifra más alta de su carrera y un kilogramo más que en su última pelea ante Charles Martin.
Los otros tres enfrentamientos de la cartelera principal serán los tres en el peso ligero [61,2 kg o 135 lb]. El semifondo será una eliminatoria WBC entre Isaac Cruz y Eduardo Ramírez, quienes no sobrepasaron el límite de la división. Cruz paró la báscula en el techo del peso ligero, mientras que Ramírez marcó 61,0 kg (134,5 lb).
En cuanto a Abner Mares y Miguel Flores, los púgiles dieron cantidades respectivas de 60,9 kg (134,2 lb) y de 61,1 kg (134,6 lb), habiendo una mayor diferencia de peso entre José Valenzuela y el remplazo Edwin de los Santos, quienes marcaron 61,1 kg (134,6 lb) y 60,7 kg (133,8 lb).
Esta velada será emitida en Estados Unidos por un PPV de FOX que se iniciará a las 21:00 ET/18:00 PT, las 3:00 de la madrugada en hora de España.

This time not all the most relevant fights of the weekend happened on Saturday, since today will take place the PBC card from the Staples Center (Crypto.com Arena) in Los Angeles, United States. The evening will be headlined by the heavyweight [+90.7 kg or +200 lb] bout between former world champion Andy Ruiz and former world title challenger Luis Ortiz.
Ruiz weighed 121.9 kg (268.75 lb) for this fight, five kilograms (11 lb) heavier than for his last bout against Arreola and only some grams heavier than when he defeated Anthony Joshua. For his part, Ortiz stopped the scales at 111.4 kg (245.5 lb), that is, the highest weight of his career and one kilogram (2.2 lb) more than in his last fight against Charles Martin.
