La carrera del excampeón mundial del peso pesado [+90,7 kg o +200 lb] Deontay Wilder se reanudará este sábado en el Barclays Center de Nueva York, Estados Unidos, donde encabezará una velada de PBC enfrentándose a Robert Helenius.
De cara a este cruce, Wilder detuvo la romana en su cifra más baja desde su primer duelo ante Tyson Fury en diciembre de 2018, ya que dio 97,3 kg (214,5 lb), 10,7 kg (23,6 lb) menos que en su choque más reciente, el que cerró la trilogía con Fury. Por su parte, Helenius dio su cifra más elevada desde diciembre de 2016 al parar la romana en 114,9 kg (253,25 lb), 3,3 kg (7,3 lb) más que para su última victoria en la revancha ante Adam Kownacki.
Respecto al choque co-estelar, eliminatoria WBC del peso supermedio, Caleb Plant y Anthony Dirrell dieron cifras válidas de, respectivamente, 75,9 kg (167,25 lb) y 76,1 kg (167,75 lb).
La cartelera principal de este evento contará también con el combate del peso pesado [+90,7 kg o +200 lb] entre Frank Sánchez, que pesó 112,4 kg (247,8 lb), y Carlos Negrón, que marcó 110,9 kg (244,5 lb), y con el enfrentamiento de revancha del peso gallo [53,5 kg o 118 lb] entre Gary Antonio Russell y Emmanuel Rodríguez, quienes marcaron 52,8 kg (116,5 lb) y 53,4 kg (117,75 lb).
Esta cartelera será televisada en Estados Unidos por un PPV de Fox Sports que comenzará el sábado a las 21:00 ET/18:00 PT, las 3:00 de la madrugada en hora española.

For his part, Helenius weighed his highest figure since December 2016 tipping the scales at 114.9 kg (253.25 lb), 3.3 kg (7.3 lb) more than for his last victory in the rematch against Adam Kownacki.
Regarding the co-main event, a WBC super middleweight eliminator, Caleb Plant and Anthony Dirrell weighed valid and similar figures of, respectively, 75.9 kg (167.25 lb) and 76.1 kg (167.75 lb).
The main card of this bill will also feature the heavyweight fight [+90.7 kg or +200 lb] between Frank Sánchez, who weighed 112.4 kg (247.8 lb), and Carlos Negrón, who weighed 110.9 kg (244.5 lb), and the bantamweight [53.5 kg or 118 lb] rematch between Gary Antonio Russell and Emmanuel Rodríguez, who weighed in at 52.8 kg (116.5 lb) and at 53.4 kg (117.75 lb).
