Victorias de los favoritos Nikita Zon y Denis Savitsky, Mirzahamrayev dio la sorpresa con KOT en el último round

Tras tener que conformarse con un empate en su último combate, el imbatido peso supermedio ruso Nikita Zon 5(4KO)-0-1 cerró su campaña de 2022 con su tercera victoria del año, siendo esta vez el púgil al que derrotó el ruso-armenio Manuk Dilanyan 12(5KO)-10(6)-2.
En los primeros minutos hubo algunos instantes en los que Dilanyan llegó con su mano diestra en directo o cruzado, pero por lo general Zon lidió calmadamente con las ofensivas rivales, llevó a las cuerdas a su oponente y le asestó duros hooks abajo. Esto precedió un knockdown padecido por Dilanyan en el segundo asalto debido a un gancho de izquierda al torso. En el tercer round, Zon cerró el encuentro, primero forzando otro knockdown atacando a su rival con series de rectos y después poniendo de rodillas a Dilanyan con un explosivo gancho zurdo al cuerpo a la contra.
Ciertamente, el joven peso crucero Denis Savitsky 6(4KO)-0-1 todavía tiene cosas que pulir y necesitará más trabajo de desarrollo que otros prospectos, pero de momento está evolucionando y el sábado batió por KOT en el cuarto round a Denis Tsaryuk 13(10KO)-7(6).
A diferencia de lo sucedido en su último combate, en el que tuvo más dificultades de las previstas ante Vilchitsky, Savitsky estableció un dominio de las acciones a través de sus jabs, sus cruzados de mano adelantada y sus directos diestros ante Tsaryuk. El veterano púgil fue lidiando cada vez peor con los golpes recibidos, padeció una hemorragia nasal y en el tercer round puso la rodilla en la lona por un gancho diestro al cuerpo. El tañido de la campana aplazó el desenlace al cuarto episodio, pero entonces Tsaryuk volvió a ser derribado por una combinación y en la reanudación fue hostigado por Savitsky hasta el KOT.
La velada se inició con una entretenida pugna en la que el uzbeko Khasanboy Mirzahamrayev 2(1KO)-3 se anotó una excelente victoria por KOT en el sexto asalto al invicto peso superligero ruso Demid Luchnikov 3(1KO)-1(1).
Mirzahamrayev ofreció un gran esfuerzo en la primera mitad, cargando al ataque contra su oponente lanzando golpes de poder en hook. Sin embargo, su boxeo era algo previsible, su precisión fue irregular y Luchnikov pudo utilizar su ventaja en técnica y precisión para impactar manos certeras a la contra y fluidas combinaciones con variación de altura entre esquivas. Además, Luchnikov trabajó bien al torso ante un Mirzahamrayev que desde la mitad empezó a dar muestras en su desplazamiento de estar afectado por dichos golpes.
Todo parecía apuntar a que el favorito iba a terminar logrando la victoria por decisión, pero Mirzahamrayev lo siguió intentando con determinación y en el sexto round impactó un brutal cruzado diestro que llevó al tapiz a Luchnikov (que se levantó en muy mal estado) y el árbitro paró el encuentro.

After having to settle for a draw in his last bout, unbeaten Russian super middleweight Nikita Zon 5(4KO)-0-1 closed out his 2022 campaign with his third win of the year. This time Zon defeated the Russian-Armenian Manuk Dilanyan 12(5KO)-10(6)-2.
There were a few moments in the early minutes when Dilanyan connected his right hand in straight or hook, but for the most part Zon dealt calmly with his opponent’s offensives, took him to the ropes and landed hard hooks down. This preceded a knockdown suffered by Dilanyan in the second round due to a left hook to the torso. In the third round, Zon closed the match, first scoring another knockdown attacking his opponent with combinations of straight punches and then bringing Dilanyan to his knees with an explosive counter left hook to the body.
Certainly, young cruiserweight Denis Savitsky 6(4KO)-0-1 still has to hone various elements of his boxing and will need more development work than other prospects, but for now he is evolving and on Saturday he defeated Denis Tsaryuk 13 (10KO)-7(6) by fourth round TKO.
Unlike what happened in his last fight, in which he had more difficulties than expected against Vilchitsky, Savitsky established a dominance of the actions through his jabs, his lead hooks and his right hands. The veteran Tsaryuk was dealing worse and worse with the blows received, suffered a nosebleed and in the third round he put a knee on the canvas due to a right hook to the body. The ringing of the bell postponed the end to the fourth round, when Tsaryuk was knocked down again by a combination and in the restart he was attacked by Savitsky until the TKO.
The evening began with an entertaining clash in which Uzbek Khasanboy Mirzahamrayev 2(1KO)-3 scored an excellent sixth-round TKO upset victory over undefeated Russian super lightweight Demid Luchnikov 3(1KO)-1(1).
Mirzahamrayev put up a great effort in the first half, charging against his opponent with power punches in hook. However, his boxing was predictable, his accuracy was irregular and Luchnikov was able to use his advantage in technique and precision to land accurate counter hands, and fluid combinations changing levels, between dodges. In addition, Luchnikov worked well to the body, and halfway through Mirzahamrayev began to show signs of being affected in his movement due to these hands received.
Everything seemed to indicate that the favorite was going to end up winning by decision, but Mirzahamrayev kept trying with determination and in the sixth round landed a brutal right hook that brought Luchnikov to the mat. The local fighter got up obviously hurt and the referee stopped the match.
