A la “Princesita” Bermúdez le robaron sus cinturones mundiales ante Yokasta Valle con nueva corrupta cartulina de Adalaide Byrd

Desde el principio quedó claro que este combate tenía una ganadora prefijada y que nada que pasase sobre el ring iba a cambiar el plan. De hecho, ni siquiera se disimuló respetando a la monarca IBF-WBO del peso minimosca, la argentina Evelin “La Princesita” Bermúdez 17(6KO)-1-1, que salió al ring antes que su retadora, la costarricense Yokasta Valle 27(9KO)-2, boxeadora perteneciente a la compañía organizadora MarvNation Promotions.
Así, tras diez entretenidos asaltos en los que Bermúdez tuvo una buena actuación y perfectamente pudo merecer el triunfo, o como poco el empate, los jueces le dieron una victoria por decisión mayoritaria a Valle con puntuaciones de razonable 95-95 y corruptas puntuaciones de 93-97 y 91-99. Esta última merece especial atención, ya que es imposible darle sólo un asalto a Bermúdez, y probablemente ni los miembros de la familia de Valle vieron el combate así, aunque Adalaide Byrd, la responsable de esa tarjeta, es capaz de ver lo que nadie más puede para proteger los intereses de las promotoras, como ha hecho por desgracia tantísimas otras veces…
La argentina tuvo un buen manejo táctico en la primera mitad, puesto que se mantuvo firme en el centro del ring y contestó a las embestidas de su contrincante con precisos e insistentes derechazos que hicieron a Valle dudar o precipitarse en sus ataques. Además, en varias ocasiones inclinó el torso hacia atrás para esquivar de forma efectiva los curvos de mano adelantada de su oponente. Por su parte, Valle, más allá de entrar con la cabeza por delante y de algunas rápidas series de rectos, tenía problemas para lidiar con el jab de una Bermúdez astuta y con más alcance y que la sorprendió repetidas veces con ganchos zurdos a la contra.
A Valle no le quedaba otra que intentar intensificar más sus acciones y poner aún más agresividad, pero aunque logró empujar algo más cerca de las cuerdas a su adversaria y tuvo éxitos parciales por su gran insistencia, “La Princesita” pareció llevarse la mejor parte en los buenos intercambios que se produjeron alrededor de la mitad de la pugna, llegando a estremecer a la costarricense.
No obstante, en el séptimo round Valle tuvo su mayor éxito moviendo a su rival con un golpe de poder, mientras que en el octavo asalto estuvo más acertada en los cruces de golpes. Asimismo, en ese tramo Bermúdez le permitió a su rival demasiadas veces iniciar las acciones, perdió tiempo de round con instantes de inactividad y finalmente pareció cansarse y perder tensión de golpeo. Aun así, en el último episodio Valle volvió a toparse con los rectos de Bermúdez de forma demasiado frecuente, por lo que el intento de reacción de la primera quedó contenido en la única tarjeta oficial elaborada de forma racional.
Tras el combate, mientras les quitaban los guantes, Valle tenía cara de pesadumbre, ya que ella sabía que las cosas no habían ido como quería y que seguramente había perdido el combate, algo que contrastaba con una Bermúdez alegre y que celebraba un triunfo que se le habría dado en terreno neutral. Sin embargo, dos jueces se pronunciaron, sin importarles su ya podrida conciencia, y Bermúdez perdió sus cinturones unificados a la vez que Valle continuó el mejor momento de su carrera, reinando ahora en dos divisiones como titular IBF-WBO (peso mínimo y minimosca) y pudiendo elegir entre una gran variedad de posibilidades.

From the beginning it was clear that this fight had a predetermined winner and that nothing that happened in the ring was going to change the plan. In fact, that was not even hidden, and the IBF-WBO light flyweight monarch, the Argentinian Evelin «La Princesita» Bermúdez 17(6KO)-1-1, even entered the ring first against her challenger, Costa Rican Yokasta Valle 27(9KO)-2, boxer belonging to the stable of the company which organized the card, MarvNation Promotions.
Thus, after ten entertaining rounds in which Bermúdez had a good performance and could perfectly deserve the win, or at least a draw, the judges gave victory to Valle by majority decision with scores of reasonable 95-95 and corrupt scores of 93 -97 and 91-99. The latter scorecard deserves special attention, since it is impossible to give Bermúdez just one round, and probably not even the members of the Valle family saw the fight like that, although Adalaide Byrd, the person responsible of that card, is capable of seeing what no one else can in order to protect the interests of the promoters, as she has unfortunately done so many other times…
The Argentinian had good tactical management in the first half, since she remained firm in the center of the ring and answered her opponent’s attacks with precise and insistent right hands that made Valle hesitate or rush in her offensives. In addition, she repeatedly leaned her torso backwards to effectively dodge her opponent’s lead hooks. For her part, Valle, beyond entering headfirst causing clashes of heads and some quick series of straight shots, had trouble dealing with the jab of the astute Bermúdez, who has more reach and who repeatedly surprised her with counter left hooks.
Valle had no choice but to try to intensify her actions and offer even more aggressiveness, but although she managed to push her opponent a little closer to the ropes and was partially successful due to her great insistence, «La Princesita» seemed to have better results in the good exchanges that took place halfway through and she even rocked the Costa Rican.
However, in the seventh round Valle achieved her biggest success in the bout staggering her opponent with a power punch, while in the eighth round she was better in the exchanges. Also, in that stretch Bermúdez allowed her opponent to start the actions too many times, she wasted round time with moments of inactivity and finally seemed to get tired and lose hitting power. Even so, in the last round Valle ran into Bermúdez’s straight hands again too frequently, so the former’s rally was contained in the only rational official scorecard.
After the fight, while their teams removed their gloves, Valle had a sad face, since she knew that things had not gone the way she wanted and that she had surely lost the fight, something that contrasted with a cheerful Bermúdez, who celebrated a triumph that she would have obtained on a neutral event. However, two judges, not caring about their already rotten conscience, made Bermúdez lost her unified belts, while Valle continued the best run of her career, now reigning in two divisions (lightweight and light flyweight) as an IBF-WBO titleholder and being able to choose from a wide variety of possibilities.
