Golden Boy Promotions ofrecerá evento por DAZN encabezado por “Scrappy” Ramírez vs. Luis Padilla

La compañía Golden Boy Promotions ha anunciado que el jueves 23 de febrero, en el Fantasy Springs Resort Casino de Indio, Estados Unidos, ofrecerá una velada emitida por DAZN que estará encabezada por el enfrentamiento del peso supermosca entre el invicto estadounidense John “Scrappy” Ramírez y el mexicano Luis “Callado” Padilla.
Ramírez está ranqueado como 2º WBA, por lo que, en caso de victoria, es posible que pelee en una eliminatoria final para intentar asegurarse una pelea mundialista. Por su parte, Padilla, que hace dos años fue batido en el primer asalto por Samuel Carmona, viene de haber logrado en noviembre la mayor victoria de su carrera ante el veterano exretador mundial Carlos “Chocorroncito” Buitrago.
En cuanto al respaldo, de momento sólo está confirmado que el invicto peso gallo estadounidense Manuel Flores buscará seguir extendiendo su racha de knockouts ante el jornalero nicaragüense Marvin Solano, que ha padecido sus derrotas ante rivales como Misha Aloyan, Pedro Guevara o Norbelto Jiménez.
En el anuncio oficial de este evento, “Scrappy” Ramírez afirmó:

Golden Boy Promotions has announced that on Thursday, February 23, at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, United States, will offer an evening broadcast by DAZN that will be headlined by the super flyweight bout between undefeated American John «Scrappy» Ramírez and Mexican Luis «Callado» Padilla.
Ramírez is ranked number 2 in the WBA, so in case of victory, it is possible that he will fight in a final eliminator to try to secure a world title match. For his part, Padilla, who two years ago was beaten in the first round by Samuel Carmona, comes from having achieved the biggest victory of his career in November against the veteran former world title challenger Carlos «Chocorroncito» Buitrago.
Regarding the support, at the moment it is only confirmed that the unbeaten American bantamweight Manuel Flores will seek to continue extending his knockout streak against the Nicaraguan journeyman Marvin Solano, who has suffered defeats against opponents such as Misha Aloyan, Pedro Guevara or Norbelto Jiménez.
