La cartelera de Top Rank desde el Desert Diamond Arena de Glendale, Estados Unidos, perfectamente podría haber sido encabezada también por el interesante enfrentamiento del peso superligero [63,5 kg o 140 lb] entre Arnold Barboza Jr. y José Pedraza. No obstante, estos boxeadores se verán las caras en el semifondo de la velada, pesando Barboza 63,1 kg (139,2 lb) y Pedraza 62,9 kg (138,7 lb).
Por último, el tramo principal de este evento se iniciará con un combate del peso pesado [+90,7 kg o +200 lb] en el que Richard Torrez Jr. será abrumador favorito para lograr una nueva contundente victoria, esta vez ante James Bryant. Para este duelo, Torrez dio 100,8 kg (222,2 lb) y Bryant marcó 114,9 kg (253,4 lb).
Estas tres pugnas serán televisadas por ESPN, ESPN Deportes y ESPN+ desde las 22:00 ET/19:00 PT, las 4:00 de la madrugada en España, mientras que el respaldo previo será ofrecido por ESPN+ desde las 18:30 ET/15:00 PT, las 0:30 en España. After four months of remaining without an owner, this Friday the WBO world super featherweight belt [59.0 kg or 130 lb] will be conquered by a new boxer, with the challengers in this championship being Emanuel Navarrete and Liam Wilson. These fighters tipped the scale at 58.6 kg (129.2 lb) and at 57.3 kg (126.3 lb) respectively.
The Top Rank card from the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, United States, could also have been headlined by the interesting super lightweight [63.5 kg or 140 lb] matchup between Arnold Barboza Jr. and José Pedraza. However, these boxers will face each other in the co-feature bout of the evening, Barboza weighing 63.1 kg (139.2 lb) and Pedraza weighing 62.9 kg (138.7 lb).
Lastly, the main segment of this card will begin with a heavyweight fight [+90.7 kg or +200 lb] in which Richard Torrez Jr. will be overwhelming favorite to achieve another stoppage victory, this time against James Bryant.
