En el caso del enfrentamiento del peso superligero [63,5 kg o 140 lb] que será el estelar de la noche, José Carlos Ramírez dio a la primera el techo de la división, 63,5 kg (140 lb), pero Richard Commey marcó 63,8 kg (140,6 lb). El púgil ghanés tuvo que volver más tarde a la báscula para dar un peso válido de 63,5 kg (140 lb).
Respecto a la unificación de los cinturones mundiales WBA-WBC del peso mínimo [47,6 kg o 105 lb], en este caso fue Seniesa Estrada la que tuvo problemas. Y es que ni siquiera desnudándose consiguió bajar de 47,7 kg (105,2 lb). De todos modos, más tarde volvió a la romana para marcar 47,3 kg (104,2 lb). Por su parte, Tina Rupprecht pesó a la primera 47,5 kg (104,8 lb).
En el restante encuentro de la cartelera principal, no hubo dificultades, ya que este será un combate del peso pesado [+90,7 kg o +200 lb]. Para este combate, Antonio Mirales marcó 120,4 kg (265,4 lb) y Patrick Mailata dio 145,8 kg (321,4 lb).
